It would be easy to call Mimi Faust the “long-suffering girlfriend” of Stevie J on Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta, but the fact is, she’s stuck by him and claims that their connection is what keeps them together and the suffering he’s caused seems pretty recent. In an interview with V103 radio host Egypt, Mimi discusses her situation with Stevie and how it’s actually changed recently, and she also talks about her relationship with the other more controversial women on the show. Mimi on how long she’s known Stevie: I want to clear this up. I’ve known him for fifteen years. We have dated off and on. I have not been with Stevie straight for fifteen years. I was absolutely not with Stevie when he was with Eve. I wasn’t with Stevie when he was with Alex, Whoopi Goldberg’s daughter. I was not with Stevie when he was in any other relationship. So I’ve known Stevie for fifteen years and we’ve dated off and on but for the past three and a half, four years we have been together.
On why she’s stayed with him: What I think what it is for me the connection that him and I had and also I’m just…flat out he lies to me a lot. I mean that’s just the bottom line. Laura and Gloria Govan are busy filming season two of Basketball Wives L.A. but they also know how to manage their fun time, because they were on the red carpet of Tyler Perry’s latest film Madea’s Witness Protection last night. In the interview above with our very own Janell Snowden, the sisters (who look fantastic, by the way) discuss what to expect on the show next season and we can’t wait. “You gotta bring it when it comes to Basketball Wives, Laura says. “So it’s brought.” Laura does admit that she’s trying to control her temper this season, but filming still has about two more months to go, so anything’s possible!
When Gloria was asked what she thought of the rumored casting changes in the Miami cast, she was all for it, and managed to drop one very big hint about the cast while she was at it, saying “On these kinds of shows you do kinda need to freshen up…I think it’s only natural to kind of replace and bring in, and we’ve done that on our show as well.” OH REALLY?? Time to place bets on what kinds of shakeups Gloria’s referring to!
In case you couldn’t tell from our interview with Single Ladies designer and guest star Anthony L. Williams, we adore this man. He was absolutely hilarious and charming to talk to, and his fashions speak for themselves. Last season he was the exclusive stylist for Stacey Dash when she appeared on the show as Val, and we were lucky enough to have him speak to us then about her style, and this season when we actually saw some of his designs up close, we were even more impressed. Now that you’ve seen last night’s show, we wanted to give you a few more photos of the dresses that Anthony designed, from the ones you saw on the ladies to a few you didn’t see that were just used as gorgeous set pieces. Oh, and click through the entire gallery to see the shoes this man rocked on set. In-sane.
The five stars of the show, Garcia, Murphy, Sheree Fletcher, Jessica Canseco, and Andrea Kelly, appeared on Buzz and showed off the hilarious, sisterly camaraderie they share — seriously, this might be the most laughter-filled segment in TV history. Oh, and don’t get Jessica started on vaginal rejuvenation, because that’ll take over the conversation. We also have another clip of the women below as they play a dishy game with Carrie called “The Ex-Files” and talk about the best gifts they received from their old flames and the words they’d use to describe their exes now.

Big news in the world of the Do Something! Awards, because we’ve just learned that the hosts of this year’s award show are some of our favorite actors. The men from New Girl (that would be actors Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield and Lamorne Morris) will be co-hosting the ceremony which will air on VH1 on Tuesday, August 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
