Do you want to know why we love Adrianne Curry so much? Because not only can the girl look hot in a bikini any day of the week, but she’s not afraid to let her nerdiest impulses rage at Comic-Con. Curry hung out in San Diego this weekend at the fest and underwent a couple of different costume changes, but this one that she wore to an Expendables premiere party was by far our favorite.

Laura and Gloria Govan gave us an interview recently where they discussed the changes that we could look forward to on the second season of Basketball Wives L.A. They hinted that this new season would be a little more peaceful and that there would be a slight casting shakeup, and from the looks of these pictures, we now have some proof of both of those things. In these shots we snagged from Twitter, the season two cast (including newcomer Brooke Bailey) posed together in their best poolside fashions to celebrate Brooke’s birthday, and we have to say this looks like a pretty harmonious group. Missing from the photo is Imani Showalter, no word yet on whether or not she’s returning to the show, however. Check out the pics below for more of the cast — some of these ladies have been working out hard and it shows!

We want to pass along our very best wishes to Couples Therapy alum DMX this morning, the rapper landed in the hospital this weekend after a four-wheeler accident near his house in South Carolina.
TMZ reports that DMX lost control of and crashed the four-wheeler he was driving on Saturday. Though he was thrown off the vehicle and he landed on his backside, he was taken to the hospital with a concussion and he’s not sure when he’ll be released. We’re just happy his injuries weren’t more serious and we wish him the best!
Ang is on a doctor-prescribed health kick this week, but she’s definitely not happy about it.
In this sneak peek from Monday night’s episode of Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta, we thought it was actually pretty big of Joseline to apologize to Erica for accusing her of sleeping with Stevie J. As Joseline explains “I probably owe her an apology. I thought she had sex with Stevie. I thought he smashed her. I guess I was wrong.” Unfortunately, even though she’s sorry, she and Erica aren’t about to be friends. Erica’s response to the accusation? “Stevie couldn’t get it on my bad day.”
To see the rest of their saga, tune in to Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
We’re all familiar with the idiosyncrasies of our beloved Single Ladies characters, but unlike Keisha, Raquel, Malcolm and Sean, the actors who play them are living, breathing humans who navigate real relationships and struggle just like the rest of us. In a special gathering for Essence Music Festival’s Empowerment Panels this past weekend in New Orleans, actors LisaRaye McCoy, Denise Vasi, DB Woodside and Terrell Tilford allowed those present to get a glimpse of their personal lives, most private romantic experiences, and preferences in finding a significant other. Our favorite nuggets of the wisdom that they shared are below!
Panel #1: Finding Love At Any Age: Black Relationships Redefined featuring panelists Beverly Johnson, Shirley Strawberry, Eva Marcille, and Single Ladies stars LisaRaye McCoy and Denise Vasi
Opening with strong questions out of the gate, panel moderator and Essence Relationship Editor Charreah K. Jackson asked LisaRaye how her experiences and expectatations of love changed as she’s gotten older.
Marry For Love
“I’ve learned from such a public divorce that I had from being the first lady of Turks and Caicos, I didn’t really marry for love,” McCoy admitted honestly. “I wasn’t IN love with him. I loved him, there was a fondness and a closeness there, but we were falling in love as we were in our marriage and so I think now, looking back on that, and what vows mean, and what you mean when you say them, you have to be true and honest about that, and I was not when I said them. This time when I do it, I want to do it right, and I do not want to bring any excess baggage from that relationship to the new relationship.” Preach!
Well here’s something we never thought we’d feast our eyes on: Big Ang getting a colonic. It happens on the next episode and we have a sneak peek of it right here, right now. Do I even need to elaborate beyond that? “I don’t think soooo!”
Big Ang airs Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
