Ryan Lochte was made for reality TV. The Olympic champion has a huge personality, a family that doesn’t know the definition of TMI, he loves of flashy things (like diamond grills and giant sneaker collection, and like every other reality star we can think of, his dream is to start a fashion line. So when we heard the news that the swimmer is fielding two reality show offers, we weren’t surprised, like we said, everything about his was made for that kind of thing. Lochte’s rep told the Hollywood Reporter, “I cannot tell you the exact shows, but two different reality show concepts have been offered and one additional is being discussed.” Since the shows that Lochte is being offered aren’t being revealed, allow us to make one ridiculous, far-fetched plea that one of the shows be Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta. It would make perfect sense! Allow us to explain.
Despite the denials from K.Michelle herself that she and Lochte aren’t an item, we think that he would be the perfect addition to this cast. They pair could provide the show with a “will they or won’t they?” couple necessary to take the attention off Stevie, Joseline, and Mimi‘s love triangle. Plus, if you know Ryan’s music taste you’d know he loves Lil’ Wayne and that would be just about the greatest cameo on the show that we can think of. And then of course there’s his grill. If K.Michelle can entertain us just by changing her hair every week, imagine how fun it will be to watch Lochte rotate his tooth jewels.
Look, we know our plea might fall on deaf ears, but we’re just putting it out there in the universe, The Secret-style, in hopes that we can make this happen.
