Style expert Okera Banks has dressed a number of A-list celebrities during her career (LisaRaye McCoy and Mary J. Blige to name a couple), so we trust her judgment completely when she tells us someone looks good. That’s why we enlisted her to help us pick out some of the most fashion-forward, well-dressed celebs at the 2012 Do Something! Awards, which air tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1. Dozens of celebs walked the blue carpet, but only eight made Okera’s list, so take a look at our gallery below to find out who got it right, according to the expert.

We’ve already made the list of celebrity Do Something! Awards winners available, so by now you may know that Ben Affleck won the Facebook award for his work with the Eastern Congo Initiative. We have a sneak peek of his acceptance speech which we’d like to share just to get his message out there, because we think it’s a good one. He tells the DSA audience: “Go out there and try to change the world. It is uncertain how much good you will do to the world, but if you try, it is certain that the world will do some good to you.”
To watch Ben’s complete speech and the rest of the awards ceremony, tune in tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT to VH1.

When VH1 News’ Kate Spencer met the guys from New Girl to discuss the hosting duties at the Do Something! Awards, the guys seemed pretty excited about the list of nominees. And when Ben Affleck‘s name came up? Forget about it. The interview devolved into a Massachusetts accent-off. As a Boston native, I think Max Greenfield and Jake Johnson both need a little work, but as Good Will Hunting proved, if you add “How do you like them apples?” to the end of a conversation, you can pull it off.
Watch the guys as they host the Do Something! Awards Tuesday, August 21 at 9 p.m. right here on VH1.
Over the course of ten episodes this season on Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta, one thing that viewers (and parody animators) have noticed is just how frequently K.Michelle changes her hairstyle. In nearly every scene she’s featured in, she has a new look, and while she’s repeated a couple of them throughout the season, we’re still impressed by her commitment to changing it up. We counted twenty five different looks that she rocked from beginning to end (not including her reunion hair which will make style #26), and we have them all for you. Check them out in our gif above and our gallery below.
Well, well, look who wandered back into our lives. Read more…
We barely even need words to describe how crazy, funny, dramatic, and intense season one of Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta really was. No, what we really need to show off all those qualities is a good, solid gif wall. Here are our favorite moments of the season, animated just for you. I love you too, Steebie. I love you, too. It’s been a wild ride with bumps and curves on this season’s Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. On tonight’s finale the cast searched for closure in order to move on to the next chapter of their lives.
Erica‘s settling into her new house and calls Scrappy over to tell him they’re better off just being cool and co-parenting their daughter. “As far as trust and loyalty, I can’t get that from you,” said Erica. Scrappy admits that he was wild in his younger days, but apologizes for anything he’s done that has hurt her. “That’s just something I wanted, a family unit,” says Scrappy. At least they’re on the same page now that they’ve decided just to be friends. Read more…
Tonight’s episode of Single Ladies features an extremely saucy scene in which Raquel (Denise Vasi) has a fantasy about having sex with Antonio (William Levy). We’ve had the song that appears in the scene, Tinashe’s “Boss,” playing on endless repeat in our offices for a few weeks now, and we wanted to take this opportunity to share it with you.
Tinashe just got signed to RCA Records, but as we wait for her major label debut to drop, we wanted to share a free MP3 of “Boss” —which first appeared on her mixtape, In Case We Die— with you now! But before we do, here’s an exclusive message from Tinashe herself to all you Single Ladies fans out there…
And now, without further ado, here’s your free download of “Boss”:

He gave her the key to his home. She called him the missing piece to her puzzle. But it hasn’t been all puppies and roses and breakfast in bed between Karlie and Benzino on Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta this season. Even though it seems like the pair was joined at the hip and instantly in love withing five seconds of meeting, Benzino’s been worried that Karlie only focuses on her career, and Karlie worries that his temper might flare too often. Only thing is, that he already bought her an engagement ring. With only one episode of Love And Hip Hop to go before the season ends, what do you think is going to happen? Will he give her the ring? And if so, will Karlie accept? Take our poll, and after the jump, check out our very special supercut of the best VH1 proposals of all time. Will Karlie and Zino be on this list after tonight??
