This week on Hollywood Exes, the ladies are all searching for their identity and looking for some purpose. Sheree has a heart to heart with Nicole about her marriage, Drea is still trying to make her dance career soar in L.A., and Mayte and Jessica finally meet up to discuss the rift in their friendship. It’s all pretty heavy stuff that you could categorize in Drea’s bundle of “mortgages and stretch marks, baby.” But will they resolve any of their issues? Tune in on Wednesday night at 9 p.m. ET/PT. to find out.
For those of you who just can’t wait to see which of your favorite celebrities were honored at the 2012 Do Something! Awards, which were held last night in Santa Monica, CA, we’ve got the full list of winners right here. Well…almost. We aren’t revealing the $100,000 grand prize winner of the actual Do Something! Award just yet, so you’ll definitely have to tune in on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET/PT to see who’s walking home with that, but after the jump, take a look at all the celebs that went home with a statue.
We’ve always sighed about the fact that, where there’s a best-dressed list, there has to be a not-so-best-dressed list. We’ve already taken care of the best-dressed list at the VH1 Do Something Awards that took place yesterday in Santa Monica, California. And now comes the part we don’t like. We’re not going to call this the “worst-dressed” list, but instead, offer insight into, what we think, could have salvaged these outfits. We’ll start with Lea Michele‘s Giorgio Armani dress. We love the hair, we love the Jenni Kayne shoes and the Samira 13 jewelry. We even like the silver Fendi clutch, even though it looks kind of smushed. The problem is that we’re seeing far too much sternum and leg in the same outfit. Too much skin combined with the ruffles makes us feel like she’s about to break into the cha-cha. Olivia Munn‘s next. We love the color and texture of her bright Alice + Olivia frock, but really can’t get past the block-like cream pumps that are so wrong for this outfit. They weigh the whole thing down. We’re also digging the color of Sophia Bush‘s bright orangeOlcay Gulsen gown, but the fit just doesn’t sit right with us. It’s the same with Kristen Bell‘s crazy, colorfulJenni Kayne Resort 2013 dress. It’s absolutely not the right fit, and the Jimmy Choo sandals are too clunky for the dress, as well. This is depressing isn’t it? Such lovely ladies — we’re sure they’ll get it right the next time. We have more looks in the gallery below, so how about you check them out and tell us how they could be saved?

Have you ever said something really stupid and wished you could take it back like, pretty much instantly? Comedian Sarah Silverman has, and that’s why she’s decided to partner with the “Take A F—ing Beat” campaign (or “TAFB,” since that rolls off the tongue a bit more easily) to teach folks young and old to take a moment and think before saying something mean, stupid, or just not funny.
In this special PSA Sarah created just for the Do Something! Awards, she tells us a little bit more about this cause that’s near and dear to her heart. Watch the clip, pause before you say something hurtful to a loved one, and then tune in to the Do Something! Awards on Tuesday, August 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT to find out how you can get involved.
We’re doing a little something different today for our best-dressed list. The VH1 Do Something Awards took place yesterday inSanta Monica, California, and we’re shaking things up by putting the men and women in the same best-dressed list. What can we say — everyone has equal opportunity to look good! Having said that, can we start with the dudes first? Because they really brought it on the carpet. Guys like Harry Shum Jr. and Nick Cannon looked super spry in formal wear, and Cannon gets extra points for those raspberry brogues. John Cho and Will.i.am went two different direction within the casual sphere. Cho was hipster and streamlined in black textures with cool sneakers, but Will.i.am went all fashionista in shades of cream, ochre and olive. And pulled it off, we might add. The blazer ain’t easy to wear.
As far as the women are concerned, the Twilight ladies ruled, in our opinion. Ashley Greene debuted a new, light hair color, and paired the ‘do with a complementary jungle-printed, metallicMichael Kors Resort 2013 dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and a Roger Vivier clutch. Her cast mate, Nikki Reed, was elegant and Grecian in a beige, belted Lela Rose gown. Naysayers may sniff that it’s a tad bedsheet-like, but you know what — it’s a pretty gorgeous bedsheet. Hats off to Ellie Kemper for taking on a black-and-gold brocade dress, as well. She’s a smart lady for pairing the dress with really strappy shoes too, to lighten the look up. If your interest is piqued, then head on to the gallery for the rest of our best-dressed list.

It’s the end of an era! Mob Wives Chicago has come to a close this week. Some issues were resolved over the course of the past eleven weeks, some new ones popped up, but it’s all over now. And everyone seems to have gotten some closure. Even if it was after the fact. Read more…
One thing we’ve never considered is how nerve-wracking it must be for an awards show host to take the stage in front of millions of people. But Lamorne Morris, who will be co-hosting the Do Something! Awards this Tuesday night along with his New Girl co-stars Jake Johnson and Max Greenfield, has definitely been worrying a lot about hosting duties. So much so that he’s pretty sure he’s going to wet himself (or worse) onstage. Someone should probably have a hazmat suit ready for him backstage.
The 2012 Do Something! Awards airs Tuesday, August 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Did you ever think about the environmental impact that 50 Shades of Grey had on the environment? Probably not, but Kathy Griffin has. In partnership with the Do Something! Awards, Griffin has brought us this very important PSA about what’s happened to our landfills as a result of the titillating book series. In short, it’s being overrun with your sex toys, ladies, and Kathy has a plan to reduce, reuse, and recycle all that smut you’ve discarded now that you’ve had your Christian Grey-inspired sexual awakening.
Watch the very special message from Kathy above, and tune in to the Do Something! Awards when they air on VH1 this Tuesday, August 21 ay 9 p.m. ET/PT to see how you can jump on Kathy’s 50 Shades Of Green bandwagon. Please, think of the children and do what you can to help.
