It’s time for the pool party of destiny on Basketball Wives L.A. This is the party meant to reunite all the ladies atJackie‘s house, with the goal of turning this group back into the sisterhood Jackie seems to remember. But things are not going to go as smoothly as Jackie hoped, as Draya is about to get into it with not just her host but another one of the guests at the party. Draya! The one who was bringing everyone together last week! Sigh. If it’s not one thing, it’s another with these ladies.
Tune in to the episode when it airs Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Evelyn Lozada‘s life has slowly been returning back to normal after all the craziness she went through this summer, and in a blog post she wrote yesterday, she excitedly told her fans that, at long last, she’s getting back to her regular routine and work schedule. Evelyn writes “I was so happy to FINALLY get back to work after taking a hiatus that seemed like FOREVER! I had an AMAZING shoot today in Atlanta with celebrity photographer Drexina Nelson! I can’t wait for you guys to see the finished product, Drexina is awesome and I would recommend her for your next shoot. I have included a few behind the scenes shots from today, which was loooong and tiring, but I made it!” She also posted several behind-the-scenes photos of her day modeling, and as always, she looks amazing. We have a few of the shots below, but for the full gallery, check out EvelynLozada.com.
La La Anthony has a ton of friends. As you can see in our Celebrity BFFs post, she has some A-list pals and she’s a ride or die, loyal lady, no matter what their star status. Which is why she got a little feisty in an interview today defending on of her closest friends, Kim Kardashian, when a fan called in and referred to Kim as a girl with a bad rep, and whether or not “birds of a feather flock together.” La La initially responded “This is going bad fast,” and then defended Kim saying “I am really starting to get a little tired of people calling her that to me because if I was calling your friend a whore you wouldn’t like that would you? No matter what people’s perceptions are, I know my friend and I know her heart and who she is and she’s not a whore. We are all grown now. I can’t be responsible for what people think about other people, I go by how a person treats me and she’s always been an amazing person to me.”
Watch the whole interview, because La La also reveals “there is some truth” to a story about how she drank too much and passed out in her hotel while in London at the Olympics after husband Carmelo won the gold medal, and she discusses her new acting endeavors as well. Season three of La La’s Full Court Life will premiere in 2013. Read more…
As we mentioned, yesterday was T.I.‘s birthday, and the man celebrated with friends and family last night in style. He and Tiny, as well as some of their kids, had a dinner with close friends Toya Wright and Memphitz, and Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert, and they posted the pics from their night out all over Instagram. Tiny warned that this was only the beginning of the festivities, however, Tweeting “We celebrating for 2wks str8!” According to his blog, Tip does have a blowout bash planned in Atlanta for this Saturday night too. Wonder if he’ll have camels at his party?
Check out all the pics of Tip, Tiny, and their friends below.
This week onRehab With Dr. Drew, the episode picks up where last week’s left off with Deanna being taken away in an ambulance to be treated for her withdrawal. But she’s not the only one experiencing a heightened sense of panic. Ashleigh and Jasmen’s alcohol withdrawal has the potential to be physically dangerous as they wean themselves off, and late, we learn on the trauma Erika faced in her life that led her down the path of substance abuse. Check out our extended sneak peek above, and then tune in when episode three airs this Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Read more…
“I proposed to you when I was drunk.” “Sometimes I forget I’m married.” “Did you just call my wife trash?”
Those are just a few of the memorable, volatile quotes from the supertrailer of VH1’s Couples Therapy, which premieres on Wednesday, October 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and it’s just a small taste of what’s to come on the series. Will all five couples stay together and repair their relationships, or will some realize they’re better off apart? Tune in to find out.
One of our favorite ladies, Big Ang, stopped by Big Morning Buzz Live today to discuss all the big things she’s been up to lately. Even though her namesake show has ended, the woman does not rest. Not only did she open a new salon on Staten Island, but she authored a book and, she revealed, she’s already begun filming for season three of Mob Wives, which we cannot wait for! And then, in the clip below, check out another segment with Ang where she actually weighs her boobs in the name of breast cancer awareness. Find out how heavy they are (if you dare!) after the jump. Look, okay, so today is T.I.‘s birthday and this photo is more like a present for the rest of us, so forgive me, but I had to do it. Not only do I want to wish Tip a very happy, wonderful day, but I also wanted to give him a shout out for playing his hometown’s Music Midtown Festival this weekend and displaying all his God-given talents on stage. Happy birthday to the man with all the hustle!
Some of the casts of our VH1 shows are Twitter-lovers, which means that when it comes time for their shows to air, their commentary and live tweets are just as entertaining as the shows themselves. This week, the cast of Basketball Wives L.A. was online and ready to roll with their comments and critiques of the show, and we’re showcasing the ones that made us laugh the most here. As always, Draya wants to be reassured that her butt looks good (it does, girl. It does.), while Malaysia just wants to keep the peace. Read all our favorites below.
Here’s a story we’re hoping is legit: we just heard a report that Matt Barnes and his longtime love Gloria Govan, star of Basketball Wives L.A., were secretly married in Las Vegas this weekend. The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that the couple were hitched at the Little Church of the West and Matt’s current L.A. Clippers teammate DeAndre Jordan served as best man. Anyone who’s been following Basketball Wives over the past three years knows that Matt and Gloria broke off their previous engagement but stayed together, but called it quits on the relationship last season. They reunited after an eight-month hiatus and have looked insanely happy together in the time since then.

The pair was in Las Vegas to celebrate Gloria’s sister Laura‘s birthday. While we don’t have pics of the wedding itself, check out a few shots of them partying with Laura, her man Gilbert Arenas, and a few more friends in the gallery below.
