If there was ever a cast member of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta that caught everyone’s attention with her no-holds barred attitude and distinctive vernacular, it was Joseline Hernandez. Joseline’s unintentional humor quickly elevated her to the status of becoming one of the fan favorite. Her one liners like, “He threw a drink at me and messed up my furrah that I got from Neiman’s,” was only a small dose of the vibrant personality Miss Joseline gave all season long. Of course she brought that same fearlessness in being her authentic self to the reunion. From the hater mask to saying she only wants Stevie for his beefcake and money, there is no filter with Joseline. We chatted with Joseline backstage of the reunion while she got her hair pressed and curled. And as per usual, she didn’t hold back.
I saw you in Trey Songz video that debuted yesterday. How was it working with Trey Songz, Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne?
Oh my gosh, I was excited to do the video. It came out of nowhere and I was like, “Let’s do it!” But I know Trey Songz from before when I used to work at the club. He was just great. It was fun for me, it was my first video I’ve ever done.
Do you have any singles out right now?
Yes, I have a single called “Bailar” and Stevie just put that out ’cause people kept asking, “Where’s the music, where’s the music, where’s the music?” not realizing it’s been eight months and I do have a lot of music, but he didn’t want to rush to put any music out of course, because we wanted to do the video and the music. I had meeting yesterday with Stevie and we’re doing two videos next week for two other singles that I have. Stevie doesn’t want to do an album right now, he just wants to do singles and I agree with that. I think it’s perfect. Read more…
Tonight on VH1, we’ll be simulcasting the MTV Video Music Awards starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and this morning, Big Morning Buzz Live compiled the weirdest, funniest, most memorable moments from the VMA’s in recent years to share. Because this is one weird, funny, memorable awards show, always. From the debut of Beyonce‘s baby bump in 2011 to the kiss between Britney and Madonna back in 2003, we have all the greatest moments from the show of the past ten years.
Malaysia Pargo and Draya Michele have gotten to be close friends, and it definitely shows. When the Basketball Wives L.A. stars visited the VH1 offices this week to film a segment for Big Morning Buzz Live they complemented one another, wardrobe-wise, in their gorgeous, brightly-colored dresses, and they complimented one another constantly for being beautiful, supportive, and talented. We chatted with them to find out all the dirt we missed while the show was away and what’s happened now that the first season has started filming. Surprisingly, they’re cool with Jackie now (though they admit that comes and goes), and Malaysia says she enjoys her role as the referee on the show, but she also enjoys being a mother, both to her own children and to her “kid sister,” Draya. These two were adorable together, but they definitely hinted that we’ll see some feisty this season, too. See what else they have to say below. Read more…
Hollywood Exes star Nicole Murphy may have just bought her dream home in Los Angeles, but she’ll be spending a decent amount of time in New York City these days now that her fiance, Michael Strahan, has become co-host of Live! With Kelly and Michael. We’re super-excited for Strahan’s new gig, and we love this photo that Murphy posted to Twitter on his first day of work.
On Monday, we invited Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta fans to join in our live online chat with Erica, Shay, Scrappy, and Momma Dee after the reunion, and thousands of you turned out to watch and participate. Despite the fact that Shay’s relationship with Erica and Scrappy was a little tense on the reunion, everyone kept things civil and polite…until the end. In this clip which we pulled from the hour-long chat, watch as Erica flaunts her ring in Shay’s face and Shay reacts with a few unkind words for her in response. And then Scrappy goes back in on Shay and…yeah, it’s pretty clear they’re not best friends at the moment because, according to Scrappy, she’s “not keeping it 6000.”
If you missed the chat, you can watch the entire thing right here.
Karlie Redd has taken a lot of hits this season on Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta. First, they started coming from K.Michelle, and Karlie tells us she still doesn’t know the “real, real reason why” K.Michelle has such a problem with her. And then there’s the fake-out non-proposal from Benzino that ended their relationship. Or did it? In our exclusive post-reunion interview with Karlie, she told us she still “dibbles and dabbles” with Benzino but that she’s definitely over him, but she’s a friendly woman and she hangs out with almost everyone from the cast, actually. Here’s our chat with Karlie, which we conducted a few weeks after the reunion taping.
So now that it’s all over, how do you feel about everything that happened at this reunion?
I believe that that is the best reunion show anyone could ever ask for, like it was so good. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time, so it was a good reunion show.
How do you feel about your involvement in the dramatic stuff? Specifically the fights with K.Michelle and your relationship with Benzino.
Yeah, well as far as me and K.Michelle go, you know we’ve been at it since day one, which I still don’t even know really, like the real, real reason why. I think that’s a conversation for the future between me and K.Michelle. We have to get someone to broker that deal. It was good to get everything out, you know? The things people didn’t know about Benzino and I, that he was doing his thing — he was cheating. He was doing his thing and they thought… Read more…

“New people always bring new drama,” Draya Michele told Carrie Keagan in this clip from today’s episode of Big Morning Buzz Live. Draya and her pal Malaysia Pargo were in New York to promote the new season of Basketball Wives L.A. which premieres this Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and in addition to discussing the new people who are adding some dimension to season two, Malaysia managed to get in a pretty funny dig too when she added “But old people bring drama, too,” to which Carrie asked “Anyone in particular?” and she responded “We said old.” Well, well, who could she mean?
During the rest of the interview, the ladies discuss why they returned for a second season and yes, they discussed Draya’s infamous Google incident from last season. In response to the question of whether or not she’s ever Googled herself, Draya explains “I don’t Google people, I’m not into that. I only Google for directions.” We can’t wait for season two!!!
