Couples Therapy seeks to repair the relationships of couples who have spent significant time in the spotlight, and season two is going to bring the drama in ways that season one never dreamed. Dr. Jenn Berman will be speaking to us each week to help us make sense of the couples’ issues and shed light on why they need her help. This week we talk about Dr. Jenn’s reaction to Tiny‘s confession of abuse, Courtney‘s thwarting of the dress code, and the immature way the rest of the house handled Courtney and Doug‘s departure.
Once again, this episode is dominated by Courtney and Doug’s drama.
The dress code drama, yes. But to me, the group therapy was dominated by Tiny and Alex. I think that Tiny is one of the bravest women I have ever met, and for her to talk about what happened to her in this forum was unbelievably courageous. Read more…
Last week on Basketball Wives L.A. while all the other ladies were hanging with Jackie in Seattle, Gloria Govan stayed behind to deal with the repercussions of her husband Matt Barnes‘ recent arrest. On the show, Gloria explained that a cop tried to arrest Matt for traffic violations and the situation escalated to the point where Matt was cited for resisting arrest.
The real-life repercussions of the situation have hit Matt today, as the NBA suspended him for one game. Matt now plays for the L.A. Clippers and will miss tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Yesterday Matt tweeted about his punishment writing “My suspension handed down by the NBA 2day is a #JOKE, but best of luck 2 my team 2maro vs a tough Memphis team and ill be ready for Friday vs Lakers.”

“Two-faced.” “Sneaky.” “Bully.” All words used to describe Laura Govan this season on Basketball Wives L.A. But are they accurate? Laura doesn’t think so.
This past Monday on the show, Laura revealed her plan, a long-con she’s been devising against Jackie Christie all season long, to pay her back for the damage Jackie did during season one on the minds and relationships of all the women in the cast. Laura spoke to S2S Magazine to explain herself and defend against the allegations that she’s two-faced. She says “With Jackie and the things we have going on, I had my own agenda. I am shady, kinda…and it’s for a reason. It’s for my own reason.”
“Everything comes full circle. You get a better understanding why I was doing what I was doing,” she continues. But to the fans that have already jumped to conclusions and started judging Laura and calling her names, she advises you all to wait and see what’s in store. “Y’all keep saying I talk behind her back. I have a plan. Y’all just talking s—t to be talking s—t.” Well now we can’t wait to see how this plan comes together. Does her explanation make you guys feel any differently about her behavior?

Last week on Couples Therapy, Dr. Jenn attempted to enforce a dress code in the house to that Courtney would stop dressing to distract and provoke her fellow cast members. This week, Dr. Jenn actually takes Courtney shopping to show her where to buy clothes that aren’t made of vinyl and lucite. Remember the scene in Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts goes shopping on Rodeo Drive? It’s kind of like that.
Couples Therapy airs Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Read more…

As we all know, October 31 is the day when children go out to dress adorably and collect candy from strangers, but Halloween, for adults as we know it, usually goes down the weekend before. There were several Halloween parties this past weekend and a lot of awesome (not to mention sexy) costumes rocked by stars like Somaya Reece, Courtney Stodden, Nik Richie and Shayne Lamas, and La La Anthony (with pal Kim Kardashian). Here are some of the best costumes we spotted, let us know who you think had the best Halloween spirit in the comments.

Hurricane Sandy has been a beast here in New York City. For us, the VH1 offices have been closed for two days and we’ve been surviving on our emergency rations (Doritos Munchie Mix and bottled water), but as far as we know, everyone on staff is safe and sound despite the occasional loss of electricity.
Across the country, the stars from our favorite shows have been tweeting their support and commentary from the storm (including this photo from June Ambrose before it made landfall), and while some folks have expressed their genuine concern for the East Coast, others have been making us laugh. Like, did you know Evelyn Lozada‘s family nickname for her is Sandy? Or that Big Ang knows a guy who can clear your debris (of course she does) and she was partying with Carla Facciolo during the worst of it? Check out our favorite storm tweets below.
Each week after Basketball Wives L.A., we comb the Twitter accounts of the cast to see how they reacted to the show while they watched. This week, there were a lot of beefs. First, between Draya and Jackie, then between Jackie and Brooke, and later between Laura and Bambi, and old wounds were opened on Twitter between some of them this evening. And maybe even some fresh ones. Laura and Bambi had it out, and Malaysia also had some choice words for Laura as a result. Oy. We hope this doesn’t get ugly at the reunion.
