It’s every American’s civic duty to exercise their right to vote on election day, and it’s not something the stars of VH1 are taking lightly this year. Some of our talent has taken to Twitter for many weeks and months to bolster support for the candidates they prefer, and some remain silent on their politics but want to make their votes count. We asked all of them to send us pictures of them at the polls in order to reinforce the importance of election day, and to show off how cute they look with an “I Voted” sticker. (Were they not handing those out in NYC? I didn’t get one and I’m a little bummed.)
We’ll be updating the gallery below throughout the day, but check out which Basketball Wives, Couples Therapy stars and Single Ladies have proudly posed at the polls for us, and don’t forget to VOTE!
“My wedding was the best day of my life,” Tiny Harris says in this clip from T.I.‘s Behind The Music special. We know T.I. and Tiny adore one another from the way they show affection on T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle, but in these new clips which we’ve never seen before, the pair go into even more detail about their 2010 wedding and why they decided to jump the broom after ten years together. “It was a big party,” Tip says. “There were some sentimental moments in the midst of that. For the most part, man, we just went and kicked it.” Check out their commentary and footage from the celebration in the clip above.
Jayceon Taylor is a family man and a devoted fiance to his girlfriend, Tiffney Cambridge. The couple have had their ups and downs through the years, especially after Jayceon became the rapper better known as The Game.
“When I first got with Jayceon,” Tiffney explains, “he was so sweet. He was charismatic and he was charming. But once he blew up as this ‘Game’ person, and the fame and the fortune hit, it’s been up and down. There’s been infidelity issues. There’s been disrespect. This is a hard life to live.” In the supertrailer from the brand new series, Marrying The Game, which premieres on VH1 on November 19 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, watch as the pair prepares for their wedding and have to handle the good and bad that come with it.
This week in our collection ofBasketball Wives L.A.tweets of the night, there’s still a lot of in-fighting amongst the ladies, and the tables seem to be turning on Laura now that she exposed her plan to get even with Jackie. But the ladies are cryptic with their words, and in some cases we can’t quite tell who’s on what side. Like when Draya calls an unnamed person “Faaaaaaaakkkkkeeee” and a “phony a— witch” or when Laura explains that some of the girls aren’t on her level…it leaves a little to the imagination, but we can probably draw some of our own conclusions. Check out some of their tweets and see if you can decipher who’s saying what about whom.
You have to love a guy who called his mother Ms. Diane, as T.I. refers to Tiny‘s mom. On tonight’s episode of T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle, Tip volunteers to watch over five of the kids while Tiny takes Zonnique and the O.M.G. Girlz, along with Ms. Diane, to a Scream Tour performance in Baltimore. Can Tip handle the kids on his own? “Can I handle them? Hell, yeah! Can they handle me is the question.” Read more…
In case you missed this YouTube instant classic, last week during Hurricane Sandy, Coco Austin reported live from the front lines (a.k.a. her balcony) to show the world just how badly New Jersey was being hit by the storm. Well, as Justin Bieber can attest, sometimes putting yourself out there on YouTube can lead to all kinds of job offers, and the folks at VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live want Coco on-board as the resident meteorologist. Host Carrie Keagan explains “Coco put herself outside during the height of hurricane Sandy, to weather the storm so the rest of us didn’t have to and looked darn good doing it. That kind of dedication and charisma is what our show is all about. I would love to have Coco join my team.”
Buzz executive producer Shane Farley added “After seeing her deliver a weather update during Hurricane Sandy, we knew she would be the perfect person to report the weather on our show.” In a world dominated by Al Roker, Sam Champion, and Jim Cantore, we personally think it’s high time a lady got in on the storm reporting action. Coco, if you’re listening, just think about it. For us. Read more…
Courtney and Doug were kicked out of the Couples Therapyhouse as a result of Courtney’s non-compliance with the dress code. But now that she’s gone, someone else has to pick up the slack in the skimpy bathing suit department. Surprise! It’s actuallySimon.
In our sneak peek from Wednesday night’s episode, Simon shows off his goods when he rocks a Speedo at the pool. “We just got rid of somebody for dressing like that!” Tiny tells him as he cannonballs. “This is proper attire for a pool, not for a therapy room,” Simon defends. True. But still.
Couples Therapy airs Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The pressure is off Chrissy in at least one area of her life this week on Chrissy And Mr. Jones. The runway show for her line with Talia and Emily went off amazingly well and the girls can relax for a little while at least knowing they have some fans of their work. But that doesn’t mean everything’s peaceful with Talia and Emily. In this sneak peek from tonight’s episode, tension is still high because Emily, who wants a bigger piece of the business, isn’t as reliable as she needs to be. Sigh. Nothing is easy on this show.
Things are also looking up for Chrissy and Jim‘s relationship, because Jim is planning a fun little date for the two of them in order to win her back. Will his romantic plans prevail? Find out tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
