Marrying The Game – Episode Two – Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake

Last time Jayceon couldn’t be bothered with frivolous things like helping Tiffney plan their wedding, which is only two weeks away. The flower girls’ dresses are in and it’s time for the couple’s toddler, Cali Dream, to model the dress for mom and dad. Game may not care about the planning of The Big Day, but he wouldn’t miss seeing his little in her dress for anything in the world. “This is the last time you’re wearing a dress in a wedding,” he says to the baby girl. “You’re never getting married to nobody.” Oh, please! Not only is she way too young for him to even worry about such things, he’s being super overprotective. He and T.I. should probably hang out. Read more…

Tiffney Cambridge Talks About Life With Game, The World Of Reality TV, And The Common Ground They Share With Chrissy And Jim Jones

Tiffney Cambridge Marrying The Game
One of the central themes we’ve seen on VH1′s reality roster this year is the hard, street-tough rapper who’s trying hard to reconcile his image with his home life (See: Jim Jones on Chrissy And Mr. Jones, Too Short on Couples Therapy). We spoke to Tiffney Cambridge this week to hear about her own experience on this matter, since she’s currently engaged to Game, and the couple just filmed their reality show, Marrying The Game about the process of planning their wedding. One of the main themes of the series, in addition to the cake-tasting and dress-trying-on, has to do with reconciling the differences between The Game and the man behind the persona, Jayceon Taylor. We spoke to Tiffney about the series, their relationship, and what Jim Jones had to say about all of this.

Congratulations on the show! I’ve lived through the wedding planing process, so I’m looking forward to seeing you guys go through it, It can be good, bad and very ugly sometimes. What was the best part of planning for you?

The best part was finding my wedding coordinator to help me out! When I first started planning, I was basically doing everything by myself, I had not found the right person to help me plan, so I can say that the best part of it is when I found Christie Rose and she took over and helped me get through the process of planning a wedding. Couples Therapy Tweef Alert: Courtney And Doug Challenge Nik To A Street Fight

Courtney Stodden Nik Richie Twitter Beef
There’s not a whole lotta love between Courtney Stodden, Doug Hutchison, and the rest of the Couples Therapy cast, and the cast has not held their tongues when it comes to what they really think about Dourtney’s relationship. This past week on the show, we were also introduced to Krista Stodden, Courtney’s mom, who discussed her fondness for Doug with Dr. Jenn, and even said that he possesses the characteristics she herself looks for in a man, which set a lot of people off, for good reason, including Nik Richie. Nik posted the following tweet to his account after the show:

Obviously, that didn’t go over great with Courtney and Doug, and Courtney responded with a challenge. Read more…

Marrying The Game Episode One Sneak Peek: Frosted Flakes Vs. Raisin Bran

Monday night at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT! Mark your calendars, people. That’s when Marrying The Game premieres, but you don’t have to wait that long to watch the first act of the premiere episode. In the sneak peek above, watch as Tiffney tries to convince Game (a.k.a. Jayceon) to come with her to the wedding venue they’ve picked out, and then notice how it’s like pulling teeth to get him to go. “Compare going to a wedding venue to a ride at Disneyland. Disneyland is a ten, going to a wedding venue? What number is that?” he asks his bride-to-be. When she says it’s a seven, he responds “I think it’s a three.”

So…they’re not totally on the same page. But they love each other and that’s what counts. Tune in on Monday night to see if she can actually get him to go, or if he’s too busy hitting up those Disneyland rides to be bothered.
