Drita D’Avanzo is famous now. After two seasons of Mob Wives, there’s no other word for what she is, because as she tells it in this new video, she can’t go anywhere without being recognized, even when she’s incognito in wigs and sunglasses. But maybe the craziest moment of recognition for her came when she called the gas company and the girl on the other end of the line recognized her voice without even knowing who she was speaking with. Fame is a freaky thing. But at least her dad keeps her grounded and doesn’t care who she is, because when she told him she was doing the show, his response was “Who gives a f— what you’re doing? Who the f— are you?” Oh, to be a fly on the wall at that family’s dinner table.
For more Drita, tune in when Mob Wives season three debuts January 6th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Nothing we could say about this Mob Wives season three promo can even compare to what the ladies themselves come up with, so we’re going to let this brand new clip speak for itself. Watch it and prepare for what will probably be the biggest, baddest season yet.

Each day, we’ll be polling fans here on the blog to narrow down the field show by show — each poll will yield one winner, and next week, on December 26th, we’ll crown one ultimate Fierce Female of 2012. Today is Love And Hip Hop day: our current poll features the New York cast, and in a few hours we’ll be asking you to choose between all the strong women of the Atlanta cast. (To eliminate any confusion, you can cast your votes for Chrissy, Emily, and Mama Jones in our Chrissy And Mr. Jones poll.) Cast your votes now!
Gloria Govan had a huge year this year, but much of it took place off-camera. The Basketball Wives L.A. star got married, filmed a web series, and had a rift with her sister, but all we saw was the aftermath of each of those things. Fans might have wished to see more, but Gloria is satisfied with how things went down, if only because it’s made her a happy wife and her acting career has flourished. When we spoke to Gloria, she was open about some of the other relationships she’s had with the ladies on the show and where she stands with everyone, but more than anything, she just seemed really content with the way life is going. Read what she had to say in our chat below.
Let’s talk about married life! Congratulations!
Yeah! Woo hoo! It’s been awesome, really, really great. Being married as been a big exhale. I feel like everything just fell into place. Matt’s and my relationship is so up and down that getting married the way we did fit us perfectly. It’s been amazing. Our boys are happy, there’s such a difference in them too having a solid foundation.
At the last reunion you said that you had no idea what was in store for your two, did it just feel like it was time to move forward? You needed a little time to figure things out and you did?
It was time that I needed to explore myself, which I hadn’t had a chance to do since I was such a young mom an getting pregnant a year after college. If you had asked me two months ago if I knew I was going to be married, I would have been like, hell no. But working out our problems, for Matt and I, it’s helped us open up doors of communication and let go of our past. It’s really strengthened our relationship.
Black Ink Crew, which premieres on January 7th at 9 p.m. ET/PT, follows the lives of the employees at Harlem’s most popular tattoo shop, Black Ink. The group is talented, hilarious, dramatic, and a little crazy, as you can see. But the important thing to remember, as tattoo artist Puma says, is “At the end of the day, we’re family. We’re just a little dysfunctional.” Read more…
The one thing Renee Graziano doesn’t like about Mob Wives is the fact that viewers get such a small slice of the ladies’ realities. She explains in this new season three profile that “they [the fans] don’t get to see everything before it’s edited, ’cause there’s so much more to the story that, I think, if people did see, they would have different opinions on each of the girls and some favorites wouldn’t be favorites.” Innnteresting. And here we thought we knew which team we were on…
Renee also explained that as far as planning and plotting out the show goes, she’s as real a reality star as they come. “I don’t have a storyline,” she says. “I just wake up, and whatever happens, happens.” Check out this exclusive clip of Renee and tune in to Mob Wives season three when it premieres Sunday, January 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Love is a many splendored thing, but it’s also really effing complicated. This year, we had an awful lot of shows that focused on the not-always-perfect relationships of guys in the music business and the women who love them, and we’re wondering which of these duos is your favorite. We had a lot of proposals, temporary breakups, and called-off weddings throughout 2012, but as of now, all four of these couples are still going strong, proving that if they can make it work, anyone can. No one can predict whether or not they all will stay together forever, but for now, we want to know, who’s your favorite reality couple of the year?
“I’m Love Majewski. You’re either gonna love me or hate me, there’s no in between with me,” says the newest woman to join the cast of Mob Wives in this brand new profile.
Love Majewski is an old friend of several of the ladies on the show, and explains that she knew working on Mob Wives would be a lot of fun, like a trip back to her high school days — and fun is a key word with her, because this woman is hilarious. Case in point, when thinking of what people, living or dead, she’d invite to dinner, her response is “I love myself, I think I’d wanna eat alone!” She’s KIDDING, but still, that answer put her on OUR list of people we want to eat with. Check out more with Love in this character profile, and tune in to watch her on Mob Wives when it premieres Sunday, January 6th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
2012 was the year of Big Ang, and try as we might to stay on top of things, there were some Ang-centric moments we missed as they were happening. As we scrolled through our photo archive of all things Angela Raiola, we stumbled on a few images that pretty much blew our mind and we’re shocked we didn’t catch them sooner, from totally random celebrity hangouts (with the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Eden Wood, Cee Lo, and former child star Jonathan Lipnicki….um okay) to Ang’s experimental hairstyles and outfits, these are ten images of Ang in 2012 that you can’t miss.
