Little known fact (at least, it was news to us), Sheree Fletcher has a background in fashion design. So when we brought up how much we love her look on Hollywood Exes, she schooled us on her expertise and explained that she does all her own styling because she knows her way around a closet.
We spoke to Sheree recently to hear about the new season of Hollywood Exes, which premieres Monday night at 10PM ET/PT, and she explained that this season will hopefully resolve some issues that were left dangling. “[Last season] we never had a reunion, so what you’ll see us making sense of some loose ends from the first season,” she tells us. As for her own storyline, she says that her skin care line, Whoop Ash still plays a role but that she’s also focused on her new-ish fashion venture, an in-home and online boutique. “I’ve been doing private boutique shows where I invite people to my home and I sell accessories,” she says. “It’s not my own line — yet — but I buy from different vendors and create a boutique. I’m launching a website, ShereeElizabeth.com, for it as well. A lot of the pieces that I’m wearing and the girls are wearing come from my boutique.”
When we mention how put-together she always looks on the show, Sheree is flattered but also explains that she puts a lot of thought into her look. “I actually do my own styling, I went to school for fashion design so I have a good fashion sense. This season I was a lot more organized. You have to change for every scene you do and I don’t have time to try on and take off and all of that every time. So I took about a week and went through my closet and assessed what I had and I put all my looks together so that it was easy for me to just pull an outfit together.” Surprisingly, this Hollywood Ex’s favorite place to find cool clothes is a mall staple: Zara. “I love Zara. Because it’s not too edgy but it’s edgy enough that it’s always current, and the clothes are so reasonable. For us, when we wear something on the show, you can’t really wear it again unless it’s a pair of jeans, so for me, it was a great way to have a lot of variety and do it affordably.”
One last thing we were dying to know about Sheree, just because we’re kind of obsessed with inter-show mingling, is her friendship with Mob Wives star Renee Graziano. The pair have hung out in the past and are Twitter pals, and Sheree told us Renee’s not the only VH1 star she’s pals with. “I stay in touch with Renee, and I know some of the Basketball Wives. It’s a small circle we’re in, it’s like three degrees of separation, everybody is connected. We’re one big family.”
