With her incredible poise and experience in show business, Hit The Floor star Kimberly Elise is exactly the person we want to go to for advice on life, love, and careers (among other things). We’re not the only ones who are fans of Elise, as the woman we know as Sloane Hayes was featured at The Hollywood Confidential “Images of African American Women in Mainstream Media” discussion at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Hosted VGS&L Entertainment in association with YES Productions, the inaugural series featured a panel discussion on the image of African American women in mainstream media, and was full of prominent personalities from the entertainment world as well as VH1 family. Hollywood Exes star Sheree Fletcher served as host, and Keke Palmer, who will portray Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas in next month’s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, was also a part of the lively discussion. HTF creator James LaRosa even stopped by for support! (We told you this cast was tight.) Check out photos from the event above, and once again find yourself in awe of Elise’s beauty and grace.
