Have you noticed that VH1 has a new look? We’re pretty proud of it, actually, and so do some of our biggest stars. In this brand new promo, watch as the stars from Love And Hip Hop, Mob Wives, La La’s Full Court Life, Black Ink Crew, and Jenny McCarthy get #PLUSSED for VH1, and when it’s over, check out some behind-the-scenes photos from their film shoot.
In public, Carla from Mob Wives is “Hey! It’s Carla from Mob Wives!” these days. In this video profile, Carla discusses the attention she gets from fans who approach her when she’s out and about and what it’s like to get recognized (and what her kids think) now that she’s a celebrity. Plus, she also fills us in on her love life. (Spoiler alert, she is NOT back with her ex, Joe.)
Watch Carla’s full profile here and tune in to Mob Wives‘ season premiere this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Brittany, Lindsay and Rachel are three women looking for love, and they’re willing to take some interesting steps to find it. In this sneak peek from the first episode of Making Mr. Right, which airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, meet these three ladies who are posing as matchmakers in order to (hopefully) win over the men they’re trying to match.
Love And Hip Hop‘s third season hasn’t even started yet, and already the insane rumors and gossip have begun. Though much of the cast of season three will consist of new faces, two people that we’re well-acquainted with from previous seasons, Erica Mena and Rich Dollaz, have already made headlines now that they’re officially a couple. Just how official are they? So official that Rich actually confirmed that they’re engaged.
At last night’s premiere party, The Jasmine Brand spoke to Rich and actually got him to admit that wedding bells will be ringing soon. “We’re gonna get married, soon. Probably this summer,” he said. And when asked outright if they were really and truly engaged, Rich wasn’t shy with his answer. “Yes, we are engaged. That’s my girl.”
We’re pretty surprised to hear that they’re that serious, but super happy for the couple. (We wonder how Olivia feels?) Congratulations to the future Mr. And Mrs. Dollaz.

Today, we bring you a video stream of the event, courtesy of Hot 97, so hit play now and get a glimpse at the cast (new and old) during the event! Newcomer Winter Ramos wants season three of Love And Hip Hop to show the ladies getting money. “I’m hoping this season shows more of our hustle, more of the women in New York working and grinding and not necessarily beefing about this guy and that guy.” To celebrate the upcoming premiere the cast and over 400 guests gathered at NYC’s Kiss And Fly for a private screening and party. Libations were flowing and a good time was indeed had. There’s a new crop this season who are ready to turn NYC up!
Yandy Smith, Joe Budden, Tahiry Jose, Erica Mena, Rich Dollaz, Consequence, Jen the Pen, Raqi Thunda, Lore’l, Winter Ramos and Rashidah Ali were all in attendance. Olivia missed the festivities due to being in Italy, but Jennifer Williams from Basketball Wives made an appearance. We had one-on-one girl talk with Tahiry, Yandy and Winter. Our highlights of the tea the ladies spilled are below. And because we know you’re dying to know what everyone wore, check out the photo gallery. Love And Hip Hop premieres Monday, January 7 at 8PM ET/PT. Read more…
We’re suckers for a good “before and after” photo shoot, and after seeing Game‘s new body, well, color us impressed. The rapper posted the above photo to his Instagram, comparing his physical transformation over the last month, and he still has another month to go. How did he do it? Allow him to explain: “Day 30 check in: all my goals were accomplished in the 1st 30 days of my @60daysoffitness with @bwsbyrd. The goal was to dramatically change my eating habits to a clean diet without error as well as shed the body fat wit massive cardio/ab workouts… Running, hiking, cycling etc…”
Between this and Somaya Reece‘s dramatic weight loss, we’re pretty inspired to put our new year’s resolutions into action. Eventually. There are still some leftover cookies to eat first.
T.I. and Tiny are one of three inspiring couples chosen to represent black love in Ebony Magazine‘s February issue, and we’ve got their cover photo right here. The issue, on newsstands now, also has covers featuring Meagan Good and husband DeVon Franklin, and Bishop T.D. Jakes and his wife Serita.
In the accompanying article, T.I. explains that his relationship works so well for a few reasons, not least of all is his commitment to Tiny. “Once I made my mind up that I was going to be committed to this relationship, I started being married then and there,” he says. “Since I’ve been married, it’s the same relationship, we’re the same people. We treat each other the same way, and we’re just as happy now as we were before.”
As IF you needed more proof that these two are the best ever.
Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta has been over for a while, but K.Michelle shows no signs of resting any time in the off-season. The woman has signed a new record deal, posed for the cover of King Magazine, made waves in her love life, and now, she’s featured in Kontrol Magazine with an interview outlining her ascent in the music industry.
In the piece she explains that despite her parents encouraging her to get her degree in psychology, she always knew music was her passion. “I just decided [music] was what was what I was supposed to do. Every time I tried to walk away from it, it didn’t happen,” she explains. Though she’s faced plenty of public hardships and setbacks, K.Michelle tells the magazine “There’s a lot of things you can overcome and a lot of different things you will go through in the business, but there’s nothing more important than the music.” Check out a few of the photos featured in the magazine below, and for the full story, check out Kontrol.

This season on Mob Wives picks up pretty much where we left off. The ladies are still dealing with the blow back from last season, and in this sneak peek, Renee is a bit on edge after a break-in at her house. “The truth is, after Junior cooperated with the government, I feel very unsafe in this house,” she says. “After somebody cooperates, the family usually feels some sort of wrath for that. It’s part of the game.” The question this season is, will there be more wrath felt from outside parties, or will the women cause enough amongst themselves to keep things interesting? We’ll have to wait and see.
Mob Wives premieres Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
