In the same way that Black Ink Crew‘s Dutchess designs tattoos and paints, her nails provide a doorway into her soul and reflect her personality.”They’re an expression of me,” she says of her colorful and creative stems, obvious to anyone who’s watched a few minutes of BIC or passed her on the street. “Just like tattoos, my nails are my tattoos. [The] only difference [is], I get to change ‘em every week,” she explains.
Nail art continues to be a popular trend with many of our VH1 stars, and who better to give us a lesson in how those tips go from basic to bejeweled than the Dutchess?
There’s no telling whether the mystery of the allegedly stolen logo will be solved on next week’s Mob Wives, or if it will continue to haunt the streets of Staten Island like the ghost of ODB. While Carla and Love each told Drita how much they dislike a woman they’ve admittedly never met, all of the ladies had something to say about last night’s episode.
Stevie J seemingly has lost his mind. Not literally, but proposing his main chick agree to therapy with him and his sidechick is beyond bananas. “Three’s Company” indeed on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Read more…
Appointed The Source’s first female Editor-In-Chief in 2003, Bronx-born Kim Osorio has worked in hip hop publishing for 15 years. From Big Ang‘s words of wisdom to Drita‘s blunt assessment of Love’s “mental problems,” last night’s Mob Wives planted massive bombs likely to explode next week all because of a silly pair of angel wings. Despite the fact that they’ve never met, Love and Carla are at odds, arguing over bad thoughts said behind-the-back and poor business tactics.
On Monday’s two-part finale of Black Ink Crew, Dutchess is on hand to support her man in family court, but there has to be a whole bunch of things she wants to say about Ceaser‘s ex that aren’t exactly camera-friendly.When the only way to avoid jail time is by somehow scrounging up $2,000 in 60 minutes, you’d want to call your enemy “psycho”/”crazy”/[insert word of choice here] as well.
Our very own Carrie Keagan made a trip to Staten Island–yes, on purpose–to visit Big Ang‘s Drunken Monkey, the set of many an important conversation (and fight) over almost two seasons of Mob Wives. Since she traveled so far, Ang was kind enough to let the Big Morning Buzz Live host mix up some drinks for ACTUAL patrons–to be fair, she’s had some training.
Love and Hip Hop Atlanta heated upyesterday on the “No Apologies” episode. Stevie pulled out all the stops to win Mimi‘s heart back after getting Joseline pregnant. When he mentions therapy Mimi was more than happy to listen since she’s hellbent on working things out with him. Read more…
