So much of the focus with the women who make or have made up the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta was centered on the drama in their lives — namely with each other and the men they’ve dealt with over the years. However, because it’s all about mamas today, we want to stop and shed a more positive light on these ladies by celebrating their roles as mothers. Some are raising handsome sons, others gorgeous daughters, and if you’re Momma Dee, you’ll swear you’re raising royalty. But whoever you’re raising or have raised, you put in the work. Happy Mother’s Day, mamas of LHH ATL. Ya’ll deserve it!

Mob Wives actually shows a lot about motherhood, though we tend to forget that because said mothers are often busy bickering and discussing how much they loathe the feds. Nonetheless, if there’s any show on VH1 featuring mothers who put up with the absolute worst and fight on to raise their kids the best way imaginable, it’s this show and these women. So applaud these ladies on their special day.
Now, feel free to enjoy the gallery, but be careful with your MILF jokes. These women can and will hurt you. Happy Mother’s Day, Mob Wives!
In this week’s fashion round up, we are treated to a reunion of the minds (and styles) of K. Michelle and Joseline Hernandez. Plus, many of your other favorites from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta are on the scene as are other VH1 staples like LeToya Luckett, Erica Mena, La La, Tiny & Shekinah, plus Amina Buddafly and her growing pregnant belly. Enjoy, y’all!
It’s been a very long time since most of us have seen former Basketball Wives star Meeka Claxton. And sadly, most of us only remember Meeka as the woman Tami Roman sucker punched on the sneak towards the end of the third season of the VH1 franchise. However, Meeka was an actual wife and legitimate business woman when she joined the cast. She was the founder of the real estate firm,Allure Realty Group, in addition to a number of other businesses.
Well, Meeka is still out here working — dabbling in publishing (Elite and Pynk magazines) and based on her social media activity, quite the active life on the scene. Here’s a look at Meeka the mommy, working woman, and partier. Yes, she was very eager to be on the show at the time, but her co-stars could’ve been nicer. (Dont worry though, she’s since made amends with her former foe, Tami Roman.) Pour out a lil’ something-something for Meeka after you check out the gallery.
So La La got a new haircut. To me, it gives teases of of Ciara’s haircut from last year that looked like Keri Hilson’s haircut from the year before that — which reminded me of one of T-Boz’s haircuts from the 1990s, only with a lighter, classier flair. And that’s no shade. It looks good on you, boo boo.
Now, I’ll let y’all weigh in with your own verdicts. Check out La La’s new do and compare and contrast with the previous style (included).
The lovely Evelyn Lozada recently gave birth to a son, Carl Crawford Jr., and is already making sure that her post-pregnancy body is as snatched as we’re used to seeing. The fitness enthusiast has started a 60 Day Challenge to drop the baby weight. As she noted on her personal Web site, “Under doctor’s orders, I’m supposed to begin with light cardio.” So basically no drink-tossing as a substitute for weight lifting — at least not in the interim.
In this gallery, we give you a taste of what Eve’s post-baby body looks like presently, how she looked during her pregnancy, and what activities (and the attire that accompanies it) she’s doing to drop the pounds. Good luck with your challenge, Evelyn. I have no doubt in my mind that you’ll succeed.
It’s a tamer week for your VH1 favorites. Lots of denim, a few bathing suits, and everything but your frequent tight ass dresses. But of course, we there’s still plenty of skin and tightness by way of short length dresses. As the Lord intended. Speaking of, Happy Good Friday and all that.
Former Love & Hip Hop: New York star Kimbella will always have a special place in many of our hearts after notoriously saying “Still look pretty!” after being sucker-punched by Chrissy Lampkin. Personally, I use that quote to this day and will continue to so long as my tongue continues to work. Now, although Kimbella is no longer a part of the show, fret not for her. Kimbella’s life continues to be on the up and up.
She’s still with rapper Juelz Santana; still collects a nice coin on her own via club appearances; has two cute kids; and yes, still looks prettttttty. ‘Round of applause for the ever so beautiful Kimbella. Life looks great.
Like many of you, I’m legitimately surprised that Waka Flocka Flame is joining the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta alongside girlfriend, Tammy Rivera. Of course, I’m also most grateful ’cause Waka is great in interviews. The same goes for his his mama, the incomparable Deb Antney. Now, I don’t know a lot about Tammy, but I do know she and Waka have been in a three year “courtship,” only now they’re working to take things to another level — you can see what that’s all about in our supertrailer. Tammy’s also the cutest thing ever. Ditto for the shots of them together as a couple.
Get to know them through pictures and be ready when they make their debutMonday, May 5th at 8PM ET/PT. Be excited. This will be everything. Now, let me go turn on “No Hands.”
