There’s an easy recipe for the date-cancellation blues. Combine one part romantic comedies, one part hanging with your best friends, combine and chill. And that’s what Val from Single Ladies is trying to do with her pal Aprilafter her date bails on her in this behind-the-scenes text. Will Val persuade April to participate in a “Moon River” singalong when the movie’s over?
Single Ladies airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT, and for more bonus features, be sure to check out the Twitter pages of Val (@Val_VH1), Keisha (@Keisha_VH1) and Omar (@Omar_VH1).
You know how they say college is a place to experiment…and Val’s experimentation is about to get outed on Single Ladies thanks to her college roommate Sharon Love, played by Queen Latifah.
Latifah is not only a guest star but an executive producer on Single Ladies, and in this clip, courtesy of EW.com, she’s about to reveal some intimate details about her relationship with her old bunk mate. For the full back story of what happened between Val and Sharon, tune in to the July 4 episode at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
One of the things we love about Single Ladies is the passion that it inspires in its fans. Especially the fans on Twitter. That’s why we’ve started a weekly roundup of the best tweets from the most supportive, and usually hilarious, fans in the Twitterverse. This week, more of you are still obsessed with how good Stacey Dash looks (can’t blame you), and everyone seems to have an opinion on Val and KC‘s relationship. Read on for the best tweets of the week!
@Tokyo_Steez: Stacey Dash and Pharrell should get together and have little non aging babies
If there was one universal theme of this week’s episode of Single Ladies, it’s “Don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.” Because these ladies said goodbye to all their relationships (at least, I think they have). Read more…
It’s on and crackalackin whenever Basketball Wives star Tami Roman is around. That’s a lesson learned from a season and a half of the show, but also from this hilarious clip Tami starred in at the BET Awards which aired last night. In “The Real Husbands Of Hollywood,” Tami takes on her new “husband” Kevin Hart, along with his friends Nelly, Nick Cannon, and Bobby Brown and shows them who’s the real F’N factor now. Whitney and Mariah got nothin’ on her.
Jennifer Williams, who for two seasons was the only actual, current “basketball wife” on Basketball Wives, has filed for divorce from her husband Eric after four years of marriage.
TMZ reports that Williams filed for divorce on Friday, June 24, in Hudson County Superior Court in New Jersey, citing irreconcilable differences. She has asked for alimony and equitable distribution of their assets, which we assume means half of whatever Eric makes from that shady movie he wants to make with Suzie. Jen has hinted at the divorce on camera since last season and has been living apart from Eric for all of season three, but this step makes their dissolution official.
There were a lot of fights this season on Mob Wives, you had your Renee Vs. Carla, Karen Vs. Drita, and of course, Drita Vs. The Raccoons. And with these fights came great intensity, emotion, and facial expressions that are worth taking another look at. We’ve got a few months before season two premieres, so we might as well savor the best parts of season one, right? Read more…
