Making Mr. Right Finale – Meet Your Perfect Match
It’s the final episode of Making Mr. Right, which means that it is time for the “matchmakers” to finally come clean. Also, they are in Panama! Each lady takes her potential Mr. Right on an excursion, under the ruse that they will be preparing them to meet their perfect match. Brittany feels “a lot of pressure because I’m not 100% confident in my decision to be here with Matt,” while Lindsay feels the same way about Niko (because she still likes Matt.) Rachel is excited to hang out with Ryan, but is nervous because she has “a lot to lose.” On the other side of the coin, the guys are excited, but nervous to meet these mysterious perfect matches they’ve been hearing so little about. Once the girls reveal the ruse, the ball is in the guy’s choice for the first time and they must decide if they have feelings for their “matchmaker” or if they want to leave Panama alone. Read more…
Making Mr. Right Episode 6 – Mama Drama
There are only six guys left in the Making Mr. Right house and things are getting interesting. The “matchmakers” are doing their best to diffuse the dead-on conspiracy theories by distracting the guys. This week’s distraction: their mothers will be coming to the house to let the “matchmakers” in on the kind of girl they hope their sons end up with. Rachel, Brittany and Lindsay are excited to find out where these guys came from and how they interact with the most important women in their lives. Read more…
Making Mr. Right Episode 5 – Swapping Saliva
It’s week five in the Making Mr. Right house and things are getting real. This week’s theme is chemistry and, of course, the easiest way to find out if you have chemistry with someone is by kissing them. The guys will be blind-folded and each kiss three women to see who they have the most chemistry with. Unfortunately, our favorite “matchmakers” won’t be puckering up just yet. Before the kissing commences, each guy rates the three ladies based on looks alone. The guys have all kinds of feelings about today’s activity Matthew declines the offer to swap saliva with three random girls, Ryan finds it kind of gross, and James can’t wait for his turn. Making Mr. Right Episode 4 – It’s A Conspiracy!
It’s week four in the Making Mr. Right house and the guys are getting suspicious of the “matchmakers.” Lamarr questions whether Lindsay is even old enough to be a matchmaker and once he does, the conspiracy theories run rampant. Murphy hits the nail directly on the head in his suggestion that “it seems like April is a legit matchmaker and then she has these three undercover daters .” The girls realize it is time to step up their acting game and distance themselves from the guys as much as they can to convince them that their conspiracy theories are not rooted in fact whatsoever. Making Mr. Right Episode 3 – Singing, Sulking And Sucking Face
It’s week three in the Making Mr. Right house and while the “matchmakers” are enjoying spying on the guys more than ever, it has also become increasingly harder for them, as they develop feelings for the guys, to keep their cover. April is forced to intervene and decides that this week the girls will be picking, and getting to know, a new group of guys. Lindsay is especially bummed that Matthew will not be on her team this week because “there is no disputing the fact that he’s my top guy.” Rachel is open to switching groups because she’s hoping to get to know Brian better, and even though Brittany still is crushing hard on Murphy, agrees it “would be nice” to get to know some of the other guys. This week the goal is to get to know each guy’s communication style so their first challenge is to write a song or poem about their dream girl AKA the “matchmakers.” Read more…
Making Mr. Right – Episode 2 – Build A Babe
It’s week two in the Making Mr. Right house and everyone has settled in nicely, so that means it is time to start sending people home. If reality television has taught us one thing, it’s “never get comfortable.” The theme of this week is compatibility. April lets the girls know how compatibility is one of the more important aspects of any budding relationship. After a series of compatibility tests and challenges, the “matchmakers” will have to decide who they are least compatible with (from their team) and send the poor guy home. Read more…
Making Mr. Right Series Premiere – Let The Mind Games Begin
Welcome to Making Mr. Right. The show where three matchmakers mold an eager group of men into the perfect guy…for them. Yup, you guessed it, the women aren’t really matchmakers, but just tired of waiting until it’s too late to find out the dirty truth about the men they date. Every woman on the planet (and probably most men) have at least thought about snooping whether via social media or IRL to find out if their partner is hiding something. Typically this behavior would be a major red flag for any guy, but this is reality television so instead of giving the ladies a gentle warning, we not only encourage, but are thrilled with any and all spying, snooping, and sneaky behavior. First we meet the ladies. Read more…
Best of 2012: The Best Blow Ups And Meltdowns Of Couples Therapy Season 2
As 2012 comes to a close, we at VH1 look back at our favorite moments of the year. On Couples Therapy, five couples worked through relationship issues with Dr. Jenn and her staff. At the close of the season, each couple showed improvement and grew, not only in their relationships, but as individuals. We are thrilled to have seen deep-seated issues get addressed and begin to be resolved, both in individuals and within the couples. But you can’t make an omelet without cracking a few eggs, and in the case of Couples Therapy, those cracked eggs come in the form of major meltdowns and brawls. Check out our favorites (in chronological order) of the season below the jump. Read more…
