Victoria Beckham was caught off-guard and nearly faced appearing very un-Posh when she got caught up in a chaotic airplane drama/fashion emergency yesterday. UK newspaper The Daily Mail reports that a bird flew into the engine of the plane Victoria and sons Romeo and Cruz had already boarded, causing the engine to catch fire while the plane was sitting on the runway. Emergency crews were called to extinguish the fire; but it was Victoria’s reputation for always looking fierce and flawless that was about to go up in flames when the Poshest of the Spices looked down and realized that – gasp – she had already changed into her airline-issued pajamas and taken off her makeup.
The Daily Mail reports, “Onlookers say Posh stayed aboard the carrier for a quick make-over well after the other passengers were escorted off, and was taken back to the terminal separately with her sons.” Posh’s quick change had her paparazzi-ready for the photo op, where she -phew- looked put-together and glamorous and thankfully not a tragic mess of a pajama-clad, make-up free Posh. Perish the thought.
Britney Spears and Madonna are going to hook up again, five years after they famously kissed at the MTV Video Music Awards. The “Gimme More” singer is reteaming with Madge to film a video segment which will air as part of Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet Tour, which kicks off in the U.S. October 4th.
A source close tothe projecttells VH1.com exclusively, “It’s being shot this week and it’s a video piece for Madonna’s tour.”
The pop-star-on-the-mend seems to be taking all the right steps easing back into show business slowly, with guest appearances on “How I Met Your Mother” and shooting footage for the Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up” video last month, which unfortunately was left on the cutting-room floor at the last minute.

In a new revealing interview in Rolling Stone, troubled singer Amy Winehouse speaks about smoking crack, her incarcerated husband, and a rumored romance with Pete Doherty. The “Rehab” singer sits for a 4:00 am impromptu interview in her home which is full of, “ discarded bags of potato chips, crumpled nuggets of tinfoil, beer bottles, lingerie boxes and scattered old credit cards (that) tell of a long night that hasn’t ended in weeks, maybe months.”
Of her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil:
“We are so in love, we are a team.”
Of her second trip to rehab:
“…did drugs the whole time.”
On a rumored romance with Babyshambles singer and Kate Moss ex Pete Doherty:
“We’re just good friends. I asked Pete to do a concept EP, and he made this face, he looked at me like I’d pooed on the floor. He wouldn’t do it. We’re just really close.”

Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson picked up two other bunnies (current Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole and 2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Jean Underwood) and went to battle on NBC’s “Celebrity Family Feud” against “Sopranos” star Vincent Pastore and his family. The girls started off strong when Bridget gave a top answer “Hot” for describing an attractive male, but unfortunately Kendra dropped the ball with the answer “Bootylicious” which was not on the board. When host Al Roker asked the next question, “What is something on Hugh Hefner’s nightstand?” it seemed that #1 girlfriend Holly would surely know the answer, but her pick “Little Black Book” didn’t even make the board! That round went to the Pastore family, but after they got three wrong answers, the Girls got a chance again and were able to name the number one answer: Viagra! So they do know their main man pretty well, after all.
Even with the number one Viagra answer, the girls still couldn’t steal the game from the Pastore family, but they certainly didn’t go home losers when “home” is the posh Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, CA.
Madonna and Guy Ritchie attempted to devour divorce rumors by being photographed going out to eat last night at upscale restaurant Cesca in New York City. The couple awkwardly held hands and looked slightly downtrodden as they entered the elegant Upper West Side eatery for an adults-only dinner, without their three children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 7, and David, 2.
Although the break-up rumors have swirled, with reports of everything from Madonna consulting a divorce lawyer to having an affair with A-Rod and Guy turning his back on Kabbalah, her spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said, “There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce.”
So are Guy and Madonna really working it out or are they just attempting to present a united front for the media???

Amidst reports that Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael fathered a love child, photos have surfaced of 13-year-old Ashley, the alleged secret sister of the Mean Girls star. Rumored babbymama Kristi Kaufman released photos of the teenager who she claims was conceived during an affair with Michael Lohan, while he was briefly separated from ex-wife Dina.
Kristi reveals to OK! that she had attempted to contact Michael in the past, but now feels the media is the only way she can get his attention. “Many times I offered to do this privately so the other Lohan kids wouldn’t be hurt,” Kristi told OK!. “But Michael would not live up to his obligations.”
Indeed, hours after the news broke Michael, 48, told OK!, “I haven’t spoken to Lindsay or my other kids about it yet. When I get home to New York, I’ll discuss it with my kids. I love them. I’m sorry for them finding out like this.”
Kristi now lives in Montana with her husband and daughter and says she went public with the news after trying for over a decade to get Michael to live up to his obligations as a dad.
Michael reportedly took a paternity test, and can’t wait to share the results. Just when you thought the Lindsay Lohan Daddy soap opera couldn’t get any better, a voicemail Michael left for his starlet daughter, in which he pleads for her to call him back, was “leaked” today. Although Will Smith now spends his time hanging with A-list pals like Tom Cruise and David Beckham, he certainly hasn’t forgotten that it was his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that got him his start. The Fresh Prince himself, in fact, reunited with DJ Jazzy Jeff for a special performance at the afterparty for the Hancock premiere in Hollywood Monday night, which paid tribute to his famous TV role.
People reports that Smith, 39, took the stage and said, “I’m out of shape-I’m playing an out of shape superhero here,” before performing several hit songs, including the theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
An excited crowd, including Hancock costars Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman, bobbed to the music, and Tyrese Gibson even jumped on stage.
Will’s life certainly has come leaps and bounds since his start as an unknown rapper. Maybe sometimes the current box-office sensation, husband of Jada Pinkett-Smith, and father of three gathers the family ‘round the fire and recounts how his life went from a struggling kid in Philadelphia to $100-million-dollar sensation, and it goes something like this: “Now this is a story all about how, my life got flipped-turned upside down…”

Britney Spears is making a comeback; at least that is what producer Rodney Jerkins is predicting. Jerkins, who is working on Spears’ new album, slated for 2009, told Rap-Up TV, that he and the “Gimme More” singer are working on tracks that are “very dance-y, really up-tempo, in the clubs, aggressive, catchy and real hook-friendly.”
Jerkins revealed, “I’m trying some new things [with Spears]. I’ve always worked with Britney, and I love working with her. I’m trying to reinvent her and reinvent myself with her project.”
Regarding the pop star’s reported chaotic personal life,
Jay-Z jumped to defend pal Kanye West after Amy Winehouse’s wacky performance at the Glastonberry Festival in London where she called the “Stronger” singer a c—t. Amy improvised the lyrics of her song “Some Unholy War” to say, “At least I’m not opening for a c–t like Kanye.” It’s moments like these that make live performances so fabulous!
Jay-Z told MTV,
“I don’t agree with it. [Kanye’s] my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-A-Fella right now. … I guess I should hook them up, because he’s a great guy, too. I don’t know what the problem is. I don’t know where that came from.”
Of course, never one to let others steal the spotlight, the Jiggaman participated in his own musical feud with Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, by performing his own rendition of Oasis’ “Wonderwall” complete with a guitar strapped to his shoulder. Gallagher had criticized Jay as headliner of the traditionally rock-based festival, telling the BBC,
“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I’m sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance. Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music. I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.”
Jay told MTV Base of his on-stage response,
“I have a sense of humor like a Brit, so I thought people would appreciate that. Noel Gallagher was one of the biggest detractors, so I figured that was a cool way to start the show.”
Celebrities using the media to blast each other is so out; on-stage disses are the new way to play the celebrity feud game.
