T.O. Show 2 Recap – Season 2, Episode 8

Last week we were in Miami, but this week’s T.O. Show 2 moves to Kita’s hometown — Louisville, Kentucky — in time for Kita, her sister BJ, and, of course, Terrell Owens, to check out the Kentucky Derby. In the clip above, Terrell learns some key things about Kita while staying with Kita’s tough-as-nails grandmother. First, Kita’s first name (Buckita) isn’t “a French name” as she says. She’s named for her father, Bucky. And Kita wasn’t a popular girl, and sometimes had to shop at Goodwill to have clothes for school. Sadly, Kita’s aunt, the one who encouraged her to get out of Louisville, passed away five years ago, and another part of the trip shows Terrell and Kita visiting her grave. But Kita’s high school reunion cheers her up, if only because showing up with a) a professional athlete b) her own TV cameras makes her most likely to have succeeded.

Things aren’t so good when Kita and Terrell get back to L.A. Kita visits the office, where she and Monique argue over the time Kita’s been spending with Terrell over their other clients, and the work Monique’s had to made up for while they’ve been traveling. As you could have guessed, the implication that Kita’s been “chasing after” Terrell makes Kita angry. And Kita angry makes Monique angry. And Monique is now nine months pregnant. Lucky, a cup of Starbucks coffee is the only casualty, though their friendship and company could be next.

The T.O. Show 2 Recap – Season 2, Episode 7

This week’s T.O. Show 2 finds Terrell Owens and friend/publicist Kita Williams traveling together again. This time they’re down in Miami, attending the Miami Masters and cheering on Terrell’s friend Andy Roddick. Andy and Terrell used to party together, until Andy got married and settled down. Later, over dinner, Terrell says seeing Andy so happy makes him think, once again, about settling down.

Many have wondered if that means settling down with his friend and constant companion, Kita. Especially since she just broke up with her boyfriend, Joe, during last week’s episode. After a night of partying in Miami (tequila shots and Serena Williams included), even Kita’s sister BJ tells her that Kita could be — and maybe should be — with Terrell. This is how Kita takes this suggestion:

As you can see in the above clip from this week’s episode, she hates when people think she and Terrell are together. But she protests just a little too much.

Both Kita and Terrell seem to have other ideas. Back in L.A., Terrell invites Joe to Mo’s baby shower to hopefully get something — a reconciliation, or closure — out of Kita. She’s furious with Terrell for going behind her back, but not as mad as she still is with Joe, who vows to do everything he can to get her back. It looks like the first thing he’ll have to do is give her more space.

The T.O. Show 2 Recap, Season 2, Episode 6

Mo and Kita said for weeks that Terrell Owens needs a new personal assistant, since without them, he wouldn’t eat or make it to appointments and events. On this week’s second episode of The T.O. Show 2, they finally find him one, going by what they want (someone maternal) instead of what Terrell wants (someone hot and young). In this episode clip, Mo and Kita let Ms. Rosaline surprise Terrell with an early morning (or afternoon) wake-up call and a hot breakfast. It’s no surprise that Ms. Roseline is more than an assistant, she’s another way for Terrell to work on his family and relationship issues — he even says that Roseline reminds him of his strict grandmother.

Kita, however, doesn’t want to give Terrell time to work on his issues. She meets with Terrell’s ex-fiancé Felisha (for the second time this season), to convince her to get back together with him. Once again, she’s not interested. But when Terrell finds out about their meeting, he has a suggestion: if Kita thinks Felisha should give him a second chance, then Joe deserves a second chance with Kita too.

The T.O. Show 2 Episode Recap – Season 2, Episode 5

Many viewers have wondered why Terrell Owens struggles with his relationships when he’s got a beautiful, smart single lady — Kita — by his side. On this week’s T.O. Show 2 we learn one very good reason why they’re not together: Kita already has Joe, her boyfriend of almost a year. Another big thing we learn about Kita: she has her own trust and intimacy issues, so she hasn’t slept with Joe yet. This week she finally does, after he takes her on a romantic picnic date. But Joe later tells Kita that he’s still married, though he’s about to get divorced, and it makes Kita feel used and distrustful. The lesson here? Never sleep with anyone, ever. Keep those walls up!

Meanwhile Terrell has his own relationship issues to work on. Kari walks out of a Comedy Central show taping after the comedians make jokes with Terrell about cheating on girlfriends and football groupies. The text message from an ex-girlfriend that Terrell received on the way to the taping didn’t help either. In the clip above, Terrell visits his therapist, and explains how Kita’s intimacy issues make him wonder how he’ll ever gain Kari’s trust. And as you can see, he sheds a few tears over it, and for good reason: only one relationship looks like it has any chance of surviving by the end of this episode.

The T.O. Show 2 Recap – Season 2, Episode 4

There’s been a surprising amount of cuteness on The T.O. Show this season — his cute kids, Mo’s adorable sons, bedtime stories, and princess dress-up parties. Where could the show go from there? It could go here:

That’s Terrell Owens high-fiving a Shih Tzu on a basketball court. There were many other cute puppies this week, because this episode of The T.O. Show focuses on Terrell’s search for a teacup dog — preferably a Maltese (Mo and Kita joke that he likes them small and white, not brown and black) — to help his house feel like a home. Kita doesn’t think he can take care of a dog, so he pet sits his friend’s Shih Tzu. You’d think the time he spends with Mo — helping her through a birthing class, then taking her to workout as per her doc’s recommendations — would show he was caring and responsible. But after, he decides that neither his friends, nor his girlfriend, nor a dog will make his house a home. He realizes that he needs to spend some time with his daughters. More cuteness ensues.

Dad Camp Recap – Reunion Episode

Dr. Jeff reunited the Dad Camp couples to find out what’s happened since the show. Most of what’s happened is adorable: As predicted, Aaron and Shell are strong as ever and planning their wedding, Donta has become a better and better father, and, Wes — who finished with the second highest point total — doesn’t feel like second place:

He’s the world’s greatest dad. So great that he’s already taken his son to visit outer space, as this photo from their vacation shows.
