As a successful multi-hyphenate, it’s hard not to imagine all of T.I.‘s offices as glamorous and easy going atmospheres where creativity is rewarded with lavish gifts, and no one take less than a two-hour lunch break. Even if that is true, the rapper-actor-author and proud father didn’t get there automatically, but instead put in years of hard work and commitment before hitting it big. On tonight’s T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle, Tip identifies his older sons’ desire to learn more about the world of fashion and puts them to work with his employees at the Grand Hustle Gang warehouse.
With Black Ink Crew returning next week, we’re checking in with our favorite Harlem characters to see what’s in store for Season Two. Shop boss Ceaser is back (with a brand-new grill!) and ready to reminisce about his early days for all the aspiring artists out there who might be looking to make a name for themselves.
From designer label logos tattooed on your face to Rihanna‘s neck stars to tribal stuff from 1995, there are a lot of tattoo trends that the Black Ink Crew are tired of. Straight from the people who see more tattoos than anyone, we found out what ink trends are popular, which ones they think are ratchet, and which ones everyone’s getting this year. Boss-man Ceaser‘s advice to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo? “Be original.”
Season two of Black Ink Crew premieres Monday, September 23 at 9:30PM ET/PT.
“I had no idea that four episodes later, it would still be the topic of conversation,” says Tami Roman in her video recap of last Monday night’s Basketball Wives. The recap was recorded a little later than usual because Tami was busy filming an upcoming episode of Tiny Tonight, so when she finally got around to making this clip, she was ready to fill in some of the blanks surrounding the show. Namely, her issues with Shaunie and Evelyn and, yes, still, the “really right or really wrong” comments. She can’t believe it’s still being discussed. (She also defends her love of track suits, which is hilarious.) Read more…
In our opinion, there’s nothing more awesome and gratifying than seeing a celebrity so self-confident that they’ll post a photo of themselves online without a stitch of makeup on. We’re so used to seeing our favorite VH1 celebs in full glam with fake nails, fake lashes and glossy lips that it’s actually a shock to see someone completely natural, but we found some photos of just that. (There’s also something to be said for those that show off their natural hair, too — thank you, Yandy Smith.) Whether they were at the gym, on the beach, or just waking up, here are some VH1 stars who needed to let their skin breathe!
Big Ang is back – and naked! – in this week’s f-bomb filled episode of Miami Monkey. We’ve got the 5 most must-see moments from tonight’s Monkey madness. Be ready to watch them at least twice — they’re more addictive than Ang’s brown cigarettes.
1. Gabby can’t handle the heat so she gets out of the kitchen. The heat being her life, the kitchen being Miami. Before she leaves she has a meltdown about missing AJ while Ang – AJ’s mother – is in the show. Angry Ang in a towel is a glorious sight to behold.
Wedding bells are about to ring, as Nicole deals with preparations for her upcoming nuptials. But as she gets ready to set a new foundation in her relationship, Jessica faces deteriorating ties with Jose — and it’s clearly affecting Josie.
Yandy Smith is not a woman who just sits on her hands in the off-season of Love And Hip Hop. Among her many extra-curricular activities, she co-produced the film Life Love Soul, which features another busy woman, Basketball Wives star Tami Roman. If you haven’t seen the trailer for it, you can check it out here.
The film is now available on Amazon.com, at WalMart, and through various OnDemand cable providers.
