Now that Puma is opening his own tattoo shop just steps away from Black Ink, how will this affect Ceaser‘s business? “We ain’t hurtin’,” the Black Ink Crew star said during this week’s edition of Very VH1. “There’s a million competitors in Harlem, and I’m competing against all of them.”
This year, we were impressed by some of the Halloween costumes that popped up in our Instagram feed, it’s clear that some VH1 stars take this holiday very seriously. Now that it’s the day after and the festivities are over, let’s take a look as some of the best costumes out there belonging to your favorite stars and their adorable children. There were a lot of spooky looks this year (Draya Michele‘s professional zombie makeup takes the cake, but Sassy from Black Ink Crew might be the world’s scariest clown), a lot of sexy Playboy bunnies (Somaya Reece, Jennifer Williams and Joseline all donned the ears and tails), and some just plain hilarious outfits (O’S**t‘s homage to Dave Chappelle‘s homage to Prince is pretty amazing). Scroll through, you don’t want to miss these.
Love & Hip Hop‘s Tahiry Jose has an amazing sense of style coupled with an incredibly busy lifestyle, so she has to keep all her daily essentials on-hand at all times. When she dropped by the VH1 offices this week, we asked for a glimpse inside her purse to see what must-have items stay with her at all times, and it turns out, Tahiry’s a practical woman (with a lot of cool accessories).
This week, the Miami Monkeyteam partakes in their two favorite pastimes: wining and whining! Salud! Let’s toast to these top moments, shall we?
1. Clink clink, sip sip, glug glug! Repeat!Ang goes wine tasting to test out her competition, and test she does!
Peter Gunz was a no-show to the Love & Hip Hop premiere party on Monday night, and for good reason; who would want to face the press and fans immediately after the dirtiest of dirty laundry was revealed on air to millions of people? But Gunz isn’t totally press-shy. He appeared on Sway In The Morning yesterday to answer all the big questions including Sway’s first one: “My dude, what the hell were you thinking??” Read more…
“I hate to talk bad about Peter but it’s really like, his mess. He would tell you the same if he were here…he lied to me as well as to her,” Amina Buddafly told us at the Love & Hip Hop premiere party on Monday when we asked if she felt like she and Tara both got played by the man they love. “Absolutely he played me and he played her, no doubt about it.” Read more…
We love seeing Jim Jones and his girl every week on Chrissy & Mr. Jones, but today we’re looking back at the height of his time with the Diplomats and his successful solo career in the early-to-mid ’00s.
Erica Mena is still grinding away on her music career, and in this sneak peek from Monday night’s Love & Hip Hop episode, she meets up with her new friend Nya Lee to talk about a collaboration. Nya’s a stripper (#1 in New York!) who’s also got her own label and a budding rap career, and she thinks Erica would be the perfect person to collaborate with on a raunchy song and video.
Now, we all know Erica’s history of failed (and often contentious) partnerships — Lore’l, where art thou? — so whether or not this one gets off the ground is yet to be determined. But it sure sounds like it has legs.
Love & Hip Hop airs Monday night at 8PM ET/PT.
The cast of Miami Monkey may work in a bar, but as any professional knows, just because you work around booze every day doesn’t mean you can get drunk at work. Today’s different though. Ang takes some of the girls to a winery for a tasting, and you can just tell this isn’t a group that plans to use the spittoons provided. “Now this is what I’m talking about. Drinking on the job without getting in trouble? Perfect,” says Ryan.
It’s all in preparation for Ang’s new wine label, so technically it really is research and not just a fun day out, but…yeah, no never mind, it’s just a fun day out. For more fun with alcohol, tune in to Miami Monkey Thursday night at 10PM ET/PT.
Season 2 of Black Ink Crew has witnessed Ceaser and Dutchess become an even stronger unit, who wants nothing more than to sit atop their throne as King and Queen of Black Ink. On Monday night’s Very VH1, Cease gave us some insight into their relationship status. “We used to, not anymore,” Ceaser said, when the topic of “spontaneous sex” came up. (Leave it to Teddy Ruks.) But are they still together? You’ll have to keep watching to find out.
