2007’s Craziest: Dog’s Dirty Words

dog-chapman-1101.jpgDog the Bounty Hunter - A&E’s mulleted reality star - took a serious beating in the media this November, after a phone call of him dropping N-Bombs like crazy leaked. The incident - and its aftermath - capped off a year filled with scandals stemming from derogatory language. Dog’s recorded rage revolved around his son’s African-American girlfriend, and his opinion of her was less than complimentary - it was straight up racist and gross. Almost immediately Dog apologized, prayed with his pastor and reached out to the go-to guy for idiots who say stupid stuff - the Reverend Al Sharpton. Still, A&E “suspended production on the series” and has yet to change it’s position on the show. Dog tried to explain his word choice and in an interview on Fox said, “…There’s a special connection that I thought I had between me and black America. And I used to say, ‘I’m black, too.’ In other words, I — my whole life I’ve been called a half-breed, a convict, king of the trailer trash, this and that. I take that and stand.”

Dog finally admitted, “I now learned I’m not black at all.” Better late than never.

Dog the Bounty Hunter: “I’m Black Too”

dog_half_breed.jpg

Bounty hunting star Dog Chapman made his first televised appearance last night following the release of audio tapes that captured him dropping the ‘n-word’ a gajillion times while trashing his son’s girlfriend ( to his son). How fatherly! He and Britney should swap parenting tips. Dog chatted with Sean Hannity, conservative blabbermouth from Fox New’s Hannity & Colmes, and had some very interesting things to say. He apologzied a lot, obvs, and admitted that he often used the slur as a greeting between himself and black friends. “…There’s a special connection that I thought I had between me and black America. And I used to say, ‘I’m black, too.’ In other words, I — my whole life I’ve been called a half-breed, a convict, king of the trailer trash, this and that. I take that and stand. So when I stood there and said, “I kind of know what you feel like, because I’ve been there, too, I felt that I could embrace and like, as brothers or, even as a black woman, say the word.”

Dog has apparently been enlightened since this ordeal began and admits, “I now learned I’m not black at all.” What took you so long, Dog? You could have just looked in the mirror.
Dog’s show is currently off the air, but in case A&E accepts the star’s apology and takes him back, we’ve thought of some new names for the embattled show. Fresh starts make everything better!

  • Dog the Man Who Borrowed Britney’s Extensions
  • Dog the Sperm Donor (he has 9 kids, ya’ll!)
  • Dog the Guy Who Needs Botox More than Teri Hatcher
  • Dog the Most Regretful Reality TV Star in America
  • Dog the “I’m Gonna Kick My Son’s Ass”
  • Dog the Victim of Technology - and Karma
  • Dog the Unemployed Bounty Hunter

Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Racist Rant

dog-chapman-1101.jpgDog Chapman - that mulleted giant who tracks down criminals in Hawaii with his big-breasted wife in A&E’s show Dog the Bounty Hunter - is now at the center of a good ol’ fashioned sh*t storm, and he’s got no one but himself to blame. Turns out Dog likes to throw around the “N word” - a lot - and did so in a serious rant while talking on the phone to his son. His rage revolved around his son’s African-American girlfriend, and his opinion of her was less than complimentary - it was straight up racist and gross. The conversation was magically recorded (isn’t America great?) and is now all over the internet for your listening and cringing pleasure. Be advised - his language is seriously NSFW. Dog has since apologized, prayed with his pastor and reached out to the go-to guy for idiots who say stupid stuff - the Reverend Al Sharpton. Still, A&E has reacted quickly and “suspended production on the series.” That’s gotta hurt, Dog! But probably not as much as what you said. [Image: Getty]
