Mashonda Will Not Be Returning To Love & Hip Hop

Mashonda Tifrere has announced that she will not appear on season two of Love & Hip Hop. The woman who was so good at giving her best pal Emily Bustamante relationship advice on the show because of her own struggle with heartache, has decided that the show’s drama wasn’t her cup of tea. Mashonda was able to help Emily through her relationship troubles with Fabolous after her own divorce from Swizz Beatz.

Mashonda says “I really honestly did do the show to help Emily and help women across the United States, to let them know that you’re not the only one that can go through something like this [divorce and heartbreak],” but she says “I just don’t feel like at this point in my life, Love & Hip Hop represents who I am, it’s just a chapter that is over…

“When I shot the show, I thought that it was going to be like more of a sisterhood, but when I saw a lot of the drama and the beef, I was a little surprised, I was like wow, okay, I didn’t know this was going to be a part of what this is.”

Not sure if this means Emily will have to wing it on her own from now on (if there is in fact a season two of the show), but hopefully the ladies will address Mashonda’s departure from the show and all the drama during their reunion show, which airs Monday May 16.

Ask The Love & Hip Hop Cast Anything, Have Your Question Aired On The Reunion Episode

The Love & Hip Hop reunion show is scheduled for Monday, May 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and it promises to deliver plenty of dirt on the cast that we we’ve been wondering about since the show ended. But what have you been wondering about? That’s what we want to know.

We’d love to hear some of your viewer questions for the lovely Love & Hip Hop ladies, so if you want to know something…anything…leave your questions in the comment section. If you’ve had a burning desire to know what’s up with the ladies’ relationships, careers, or, if you’re like us, how Emily‘s makeup always looks so flawless, now’s your chance.

Make sure you leave the name you’d like to be referred to as on air in the “Name” field of the comments section, as well as your location (your city would be ideal)!

Exclusive Videos: The Women Of Love & Hip Hop Reflect On The Finale

Last night’s season finale of Love & Hip Hop ended with Chrissy Lampkin, fresh off of her proposal to Jim Jones, wondering if a wedding was ever going to be in her future.

In this bonus video, Chrissy talks to us about how she’s not hurt by Jimmy’s foot-dragging to the altar because that’s just “typical Jimmy,” but that doesn’t mean she’s not frustrated with him. But when it comes to Nancy, Jimmy’s “crazy-ass” mother, that’s a different situation.
