Jenny McCarthy became famous in the 1990s, a fashion decade best described as flannel-meets-”Oops-I-Did-It-Again.” There were no winning looks to come out of that era, really, and Jenny knows that. When I asked her what it was like to dress for Singled Out in those days, she explains “In the 90s I just remember wearing a lot of shiny clothes. That’s when they had like, blue patent leather pants and a lot of half tops, that was my Singled Out wardrobe.” Ah yes, we remember it well. But the woman has evolved. Nowadays, she loves to mix great designers like Tom Ford with budget buys like H&M, and she finally feels like she’s come into her own when it comes to wardrobe. Take a look at Jenny’s style from head to toe in our gallery below, and hear what she has to say about how her look has changed since the days of shiny pants and bare bellies.
The Jenny McCarthy Show airs Fridays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.

Black Ink Crew star Dutchess describes herself as “Classy, sophisticated, and aggressive. Aggressive because I’m a strong, independent black woman.” But when Ceaser, her boss, gets a chance to chime in, his description is “evil-ass southern belle.” It’s the classic “boys tease you when they like you” move, and Ceaser clearly crushes on her while also keeping his distance because she can probably whoop his butt if necessary.
Dutchess and the rest of the cast of the show are visiting the VH1 office in between filming the show and explains that later in the day, she has to head back to the shop to give a new client a tattoo…on his penis. It’s not the first time she’s done this and she says it’s because she’s a woman, she gets stuck with these dirty jobs. “All of the dudes are like, I don’t wanna do that. It’s always the woman that gets the bulls—! Like you have to do the jobs they don’t want to do.” A penis tattoo is hardly the worst thing she’s ever had to give, however. That honor goes to a woman Dutchess had to ink a few years back. “I’ve done a starfish on a girl’s butt-hole. That is like, ridiculous to me. It was while I was in California, I had a guest spot in a shop out there and she comes in and she’s like, I wanna get a starfish. It’s disgusting. My thing is, why do you even wanna do that to yourself? Nobody’s ever gonna see it, what purpose does it serve? It’s not for me.” Read more…
“I told Ceaser he should get a crown tattooed on top of his a—hole because he’s the king of all a—holes,” Black Ink Crew star Sassy tells me when I ask the cast about their boss. When I ask if that hurts Ceaser’s feelings, Sassy jumps in to answer again, saying “It doesn’t! That’s how he introduced himself to me!” and Ceaser nods in agreement. From what we’ve seen so far on the show, the guy is a tough boss, but he does have a sensitive, tender side, too. I mean, this is a man who, when I ask if he has a favorite outfit to wear while he tattoos, he tells me “I put on my UGG slippers. They’re nice and toasty.”
When he hung out with us in the office recently, we chatted with Ceaser and the rest of the Black Ink Crew to discuss style, life as a reality star, and what his flirtation with Dutchess is really all about — check out our photos and more quotes from him after the jump. Read more…
Having a four-month-old daughter isn’t about to make Black Ink Crew star Puma change his laid-back attitude. When I met him recently, I asked him to describe himself and he told me “Hippie rock star life, man. I’m the cool hippie.” Puma is a relative newcomer to being a TV star, and that combined with his cool hippie attitude means nothing has gone to his head, he’s just happy to be here and he’s enjoying every second of his new fame. “It’s awesome!” he says when I ask how life has changed for him since the show debuted. “People just notice me for my hair and they’re like, oh my God, it’s Puma!” He has one complaint about fame, though. “I can’t order in Burger King anymore.” Can someone please get this guy a Whopper?
Below the jump, check out a few more shots of Puma and tune in to Black Ink Crew on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT to see even more of him. Read more…
Confession: we’re obsessed with Sassy from Black Ink Crew and we can’t really take our eyes off these photos that were taken when she and the rest of the cast visited the VH1 offices last week. Sassy (real name: Ashley) is a New Jersey native who’s lived in Harlem for a decade, and when we hung out, we talked about style, the significance of UFOs and her signature Mohawk. Read more…
Love And Hip Hop‘s Olivia Longott has had a long career, the ups and downs of which have been chronicled on the show. Throughout it all, two things have remained constant: her commitment to working on her own terms, and the fact that she always looks incredible while doing just that. Yeah, what we’re saying is that no matter what era in her career or what she’s up to, Liv always looks great, and she’s maintained a classic, never too over-done look we admire. Whether she’s rocking jeans and a t-shirt on stage with 50 Cent or she’s dolled up for a premiere party, she always manages to look pulled together and polished. Here’s a look at some of our favorite looks of Olivia Longott from her days with G-Unit till now. And yes, that’s totally her hanging out with Lindsay Lohan at a Knicks game back in 2005.

Style is something Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen have become known for, and the veteran reality stars truly know how to complement one another in the fashion department. During a recent trip to the VH1 offices to promote their new show, Couples Therapy, we grabbed a few shots of them and asked them to tell us a little bit about their wardrobe. Known for their Brooklyn roots and eclectic taste, their fashion choices were no different, running from Dior and Cavalli to thrift shop bargains. And, God love her, Alex’s boots are older than her children. That’s my kind of lady. Check out all of our glamour shots below.
Couples Therapy airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.
We will never tire of seeing what crazy, belly-baring, booty-flaring outfits Joseline Hernandez is wearing. Her wardrobe was one of the best parts of Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta this season if only because it was so original and, well, fascinating. From her wild hair bows to her furs from Neiman’s, we pulled together a selection of our favorite Joseline looks from the season. The girl knows how to keep her fans on their toes.
Style expert Okera Banks has dressed a number of A-list celebrities during her career (LisaRaye McCoy and Mary J. Blige to name a couple), so we trust her judgment completely when she tells us someone looks good. That’s why we enlisted her to help us pick out some of the most fashion-forward, well-dressed celebs at the 2012 Do Something! Awards, which air tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1. Dozens of celebs walked the blue carpet, but only eight made Okera’s list, so take a look at our gallery below to find out who got it right, according to the expert.
