Speaking with the New York Post’s PopWrap Blog this week, Lauren Conrad may have endeared herself to a whole new fan base — nerds. When asked what she watches on TV, she admits that she barely watched MTV before becoming one of its biggest stars, opting instead for watching the Discovery Channel.
Above, watch the trailer for Glam God, the uncommonly straightforward (at least for VH1) reality competition that finds 12 fashionistas vying for $100,000 and the satisfaction of being named the show’s top celebrity stylist. Below, get a better look at the dozen who’ll compete for the titular title.
King magazine has released the image that’ll don its October issue (on newsstands September 2) and it features none other than I Love Money’s Hoopz. That article has yet to surface (the teaser on the King site promises that in it Hoopz “mashes out on the press, addresses rumors and talks real love”). Likewise, there are no additional shots available as yet. Still, this image most likely hints at the things to come. She looks so good, she could break Flav’s heart all over again. [King via ONTD]
Compare and contrast time! Watch the segment above from this week’s episode of Luke’s Parental Advisory, in which Luke goes to rather extraordinary (like Cyrano-extraordinary) lengths to help his son become a player, and then think back to last week’s episode in which he bristled at the idea that his (older!) daughter Lacresha might have a love interest. In the past, Luke has been upfront about the double standard society (and, by extension, he) places on men’s sexuality versus women’s. Is this unfair, or just the way it goes?
If you’re wondering what Heat’s been up to since his time on I Love Money, look no further. In another addition to his resume (which he detailed to us when we interviewed him earlier this season), Heat directed music video above, Shortee D and the Playathugs’ “Toxicated.” He stars in it, too, and in a new development, he’s wearing a shirt the whole time. Look, he’s branching out in more ways than one!
As she did last week, Poprah weighs in on her take on this week’s episode of I Want To Work for Diddy. Below, the show’s most divisive personality discusses tension with her partner Suzanne, the implications of Laverne’s theatrical nature and how it felt to finally win a challenge.
From now until the end of I Want To Work for Diddy’s run, we’ll be bringing you exclusive raw footage of each week’s eliminated contestant on his or her ride home. Check out Deon’s utterly surreal “interview” above and ask yourself why this dude is sooo talkative. Or…not.
