In a new revealing interview in Rolling Stone, troubled singer Amy Winehouse speaks about smoking crack, her incarcerated husband, and a rumored romance with Pete Doherty. The “Rehab” singer sits for a 4:00 am impromptu interview in her home which is full of, “ discarded bags of potato chips, crumpled nuggets of tinfoil, beer bottles, lingerie boxes and scattered old credit cards (that) tell of a long night that hasn’t ended in weeks, maybe months.”
Of her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil:
“We are so in love, we are a team.”
Of her second trip to rehab:
“…did drugs the whole time.”
On a rumored romance with Babyshambles singer and Kate Moss ex Pete Doherty:
“We’re just good friends. I asked Pete to do a concept EP, and he made this face, he looked at me like I’d pooed on the floor. He wouldn’t do it. We’re just really close.”
Jay-Z jumped to defend pal Kanye West after Amy Winehouse’s wacky performance at the Glastonberry Festival in London where she called the “Stronger” singer a c—t. Amy improvised the lyrics of her song “Some Unholy War” to say, “At least I’m not opening for a c–t like Kanye.” It’s moments like these that make live performances so fabulous!
“I don’t agree with it. [Kanye’s] my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-A-Fella right now. … I guess I should hook them up, because he’s a great guy, too. I don’t know what the problem is. I don’t know where that came from.”
Of course, never one to let others steal the spotlight, the Jiggaman participated in his own musical feud with Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, by performing his own rendition of Oasis’ “Wonderwall” complete with a guitar strapped to his shoulder. Gallagher had criticized Jay as headliner of the traditionally rock-based festival, telling the BBC,
“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I’m sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance. Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music. I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.”
Jay told MTV Base of his on-stage response,
“I have a sense of humor like a Brit, so I thought people would appreciate that. Noel Gallagher was one of the biggest detractors, so I figured that was a cool way to start the show.”
Celebrities using the media to blast each other is so out; on-stage disses are the new way to play the celebrity feud game.
Amy Winehouse’s adoring husband Blake Civil-Fielder is allegedly in the middle of a sexy letter-writing romance with a heroin-addicted lady jailbird. Blakey and Melissa Goldstone have been writing to each other for over seven months, and promises her “the best snog of our lives” and insinuates that Amy not only cheated on him (they are in a open relationship now!) but may be into having a threesome.
What a great weekend for Wino wackiness. Amy performed at both Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebration and the UK’s Glastonbury festival, and thankfully she was up to her regular insanity! During her Glastonbury set Amy got physical with a fan in the audience, flailing wildly and whacking the guy before a few beefy security dudes stepped in. (Check out the clip above.) Unfazed, Amy then improvised some lines in her song “Some Unholy War” about Blake Incarcerated, adding in “I’m not opening for a c*nt like Kanye.”
Kanye then took to his broken MacBook Air - of course - to tell the world that he doesn’t give a sh*t what Amy Winehouse thinks of him. Do these two thrive off of the drama or what? If Blake gets locked up for good they should seriously think about getting together. It’d be the hottest mess ever!
What does any venerable world leader want for their 90th birthday? Why, to be serenaded by Amy Winehouse, of course! But will Nelson Mandela get his wish? Yesterday Winehouse missed a photo-call for artists performing at 46664, his 90th birthday celebration in London. The troubled singer opted to visit her incarcerated husband, but did, however, show up for rehearsals, and was “fantastic” according to sources.
In the midst of all this, Rolling Stone released an article detailing the singer’s days of late. Winehouse spoke openly about her husband Blake (”We are so in love, we are a team”), drugs (”I’m young, and I’m in love, and I get my nuts off sometimes”) and her next album (”It’s not so much about recording, it’s about whatever”).

Holy crap. Have you ever met at 24-year old suffering from the early stages of emphysema? Now you have! Wino is still hospitalized after fainting last week, and she’s frankly not doing well at all. Her dad Mitch - the Joe Simpson of London - told the Daily Mail that, “With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 per cent lung capacity. ” If that sounds bad, it is. “The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won’t just ruin her voice,” sez Dad.” It will kill her.”
Amy is scheduled to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert, and is so determined to be there that she may do the show with medics on hand. If only she showed that much commitment to quitting crack!
They tried to make her go to rehab, and she said “no.” So now Amy’s stuck in the hospital with an irregular heartbeat, as doctors try to wean her off her daily drug routine. She also apparently has a chest condition which doctors think might be tuberculosis. A hospital spy reveals that, “She’d been been suffering horrible coughing fits and hurling up blood for a while but refused to be examined. Doctors now believe it is tuberculosis and are doing more tests to be certain.”

Fun! She also flashes her boobs for the camera, obvs, because what else does one do when cracked out on pills?
One video, shot by Blake, captures Amy sleeping after an alleged two-day drug binge, while another shows “a disinterested Amy pleasuring him with one hand while chatting matter-of-factly on a phone held in the other.”

This year’s artists include a 1-2 punch of British sirens: Amy Winehouse and Leona Lewis are on the bill. Make that a 1-2-3 punch: Annie Lennox is part of the show, as well. Other performers include Queen + Paul Rogers, Simple Minds, The Sugababes, Andrea and Sharon Corr, Johnny Clegg, Papa Wemba, and Dame Shirley Bassey. More artists will be announced as added.
Wanna meet the up and coming little lady with a big voice who could knock Amy Winehouse off her crack-covered pedestal? It’s none other than Wino’s 12-year old goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, and a video of her - filmed by none other than the UK’s own super-director Pete Doherty - singing Alicia Key’s hit “If I Ain’t Got You” is currently racking up thousands of views on YouTube. Accompanying the tween on guitar is none other than a bra-clad Amy, who says of the future-star, “…I love her to bits. Dionne really is special, she’s better than I was at her age.”
Hopefully her godmother’s rocky path can serve as a lesson to young Dionne, who attends a singing school in England and is heading to LA this summer with Amy to start working on her career. As long as she remembers that crack is whack, she’ll be fine!
Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty have posted a second video of their tiny day old mice - complete with closeups of their dirty fingernails. One mouse even has a message for Amy’s hubby Blake Incarcerated! Seriously, someone needs to call PETA asap.
