Sorry, Lil B! A decidedly less “based” rapper has copped your style and beaten you to the news-cycle-rap punch. Hot Rod, a 2006 50 Cent signee who was swiftly dropped by Interscope and then, in late 2010, re-signed by 50 to G-Unit’s new pop, dance and R&B subsidiary G-Note, rushed to the studio last night to record, master, and premiere the singular “Osama bin Laden Is Dead.”
The sidechained Eurotrance and party-lyrics (“Osama was killed tonight, so everybody come and have a good time!”) of Hot Rod’s would-be anthem are not dissimilar to his January single “Dance with Me.” But lyrically, “Osama bin Laden Is Dead” is deeply indebted to O Music Awards performer (and The Pack member) Lil B, who has spent the last two years creating a cottage industry (and a devoted fanbase—one fan even snuck behind Geraldo Rivera during Fox News’s coverage of bin Laden’s death and shouted the common fan tribute “THANK YOU BASED GOD”) by rapping about anything and everything, including twitter trending topics and other pop stars like Charlie Sheen and Justin Bieber:

Ouch. Fiddy‘s ex Shaniqua Tompkins just scored a big victory in her battle against her baby daddy. She asked for and received a restraining order against the rapper, which means he will have to “forfeit any guns and other firearms.” When visiting his 11-year old sun he must pick him up at “curbside,” and may not be in the same location as Shaniqua at any time. Next up: Tompkins and her lawyer will be in court next month pushing for a permanent restraining order against 50 Cent. Everyone should just make their lives a lot easier and give up dating once and for all!
Who needs this kinda sh*t, right?

Ugh. What aren’t Fiddy and his ex fighting about these days? After accusing the rapper of torching her house earlier this Spring, Shaniqua Tompkins stopped allowing 50 Cent access to the couple’s 11-year old son. Fiddy supposedly sent his kid, Marquise, a new cell phone after his previous one was destroyed in the house fire, but Shaniqua has not allowed him to use it. Drama! The hip hop mogul is also accusing his ex-lady of monitoring calls to his son. Blah blah blah custody drama and fighting blah blah blah. Shouldn’t these two at least TRY to get along? Not for us, but for their kid. Please! [NYDN]

It would really suck to be 50 Cent‘s baby mama. One minute you’re fleeing your house as it’s engulfed in flames, and the next minute you’re being forced to pay rent on the leftover ashes. A judge has forced Shaniqua Tompkins to pay $4500 in unpaid rent on the ruined mansion. The former couple is locked in a legal battle over a breach of contract suit, and when the judge learned that Tompkins has refused to pay rent since May, she demanded: “She better pay it by the end of the week. Do you understand?”
Fiddy’s ex tried to win over the court’s sympathy, stating that “We lost everything. All we have is the clothes we jumped out of the window with.” But after learning that she was getting $6,700 – which includes money to rent a new place – the judge ruled with the uber-rich rapper.
Even though this pic of 50 with the Kartrashian sisters has nothing to do with this story, we had to post it anyway. BFFs!

Oh snap. 50 Cent‘s baby mama is freaking out about the fire that claimed her home (and almost took her and her son’s life) last Friday, and is convinced her ex is to blame. “He tried to kill me and his own child,” Shaniqua Tompkins told the NY Post, adding, “Who do I think did it? Curtis Jackson. He threatened me on Monday that he was going to have someone visit me. My kids are in the house. Who would try to kill your own kids? He’s supposed to be all about being a gangster … that’s not a gangster, that’s a coward.”The police are still investigating the fire, even if his ex has already made up her mind about what happened. Interestingly enough, the pair allegedly “got into a violent dispute Monday during a deposition in a $50 million lawsuit she is bringing against him.” File that under ‘things that make you go hmmmmm.’ [FoxNews]
Some dude in Angola has learned not to f*ck with 50 Cent, or his diamond chains! A concert-goer was arrested after he hopped up on stage at a concert in Angola and ripped Fiddy’s bling off his neck. The robbery stopped the show, and 50 allegedly hopped in the audience and punched the dude. Other reports reveal that the dude got away but was eventually arrested after his parents turned him in. Nice work, rents! The whole thing was caught on a camera phone, because that’s the way the world rolls these days. Check out the clip above to watch the whole thing go down. [via Bossip]
