We can’t say for sure when the second season of Single Ladies will premiere (it will be this summer though, we can tell you that), but filming just got underway this week.It looks like Eve, who guest starred last season, will be back again, she tweeted the picture above where she’s hanging with LisaRaye McCoy and the show’s newest co-star, Denise Vasi. We can’t wait to see what season two has in store.
We’ve been at Hip Hop Honors all day, checking out the show and watching hip-hop heavyweights rehearse. Watch Eve practice her moves during her Slick Rick tribute, and be sure to tune in Monday, October 6th at 10 p.m., when she’ll nail it.
She used to be known as Eve of Destruction, but these days Eve’s in far chipper spirits. The former first lady of the Ruff Ryders is about to release her fourth album, Here I Am, which features Eve actually singing, plus the talents of Adam Levine, Shakira and Swizz Beatz, among many, many others. We can’t wait to see what the paw-printed princess has planned, but judging from “Tambourine” and the video for that song, we’re in for a Technicolor dream-world that’s rainbow colored, sexy and totally toned. Eve’s always been a force to be reckoned with. She’s a musician first, but also has had a fledgling clothing line (Fetish), a UPN sitcom (Eve) and numerous film appearances. She’s had her fair share of scandals, too: There was a sex-tape circulated around the Internet, and earlier this year, she was arrested for a DUI. While she was in prison, Sean Penn came to visit her, which sparked a flurry of rumors about their relationship, none of which appear to be true. What is true is that we can’t wait for Eve’s new album, and that she’s definitely a beauty. Check her out here, and don’t forget to tune in when she hosts the Vibe Awards on Wednesday, November 14. Poor Eve! Not only did she have to withstand public scrutiny following her DUI arrest in April (she calls the ordeal “disgusting”), but she also has to put up with an alcohol monitor around her ankle that she envisioned being the size of a beeper, but is more akin to Bose headphones. According to her, “It’s the most annoying thing.” Awwww! Too bad she didn’t get thrown in jail, because that would have been so much more pleasant. The legal system is just so hard on celebs!
Eve gets to remove her Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor in about a week (she wore it as part of her plea deal), but she had it around long enough to teach her something:
“I definitely learned my lesson. It was a stupid situation, stupid decision. I did something dumb and now I’m paying for it…Don’t drink and drive kids.“

Her blood alcohol level at the time was twice the legal limit – way past Paris’ .08. Unlike the heiress, Eve will be skipping the slammer and is instead rockin’ a stylish SCRAM ankle bracelet that tests for alcohol vapors released through the skin. It’s the same piece of police bling that Tracey Morgan is currently sporting. Eve will be SCRAM free after 45 days, but is under 36 months probation, must pay $1400 in fines and attend a first offender alcohol education program. With all these stars locked up and off the road, the streets might actually be safe for a few weeks.

Eve is the latest celeb suspected of driving under the influence after she crashed her gold Maserati into a divider on Hollywood Boulevard at 2:45 this morning. Gossip army TMZ responded with the same speed as the police, and were able to catch a crying Eve being loaded into a squad car as a male companion shouted at photographers. In an odd twist of events, Academy Award-winning actor and family man Sean Penn visited the Philly-bred rapper in the hours between her booking and release. Eve posted bail this morning and was picked up in yet another Maserati.
