As we parallel park into July and officially hit the curb of this year’s halfway point, it’s time to take a quick look back at what the past six months have taught us. Not conventional life lessons, however; we’re talking about stuff that’s a little bit less intense and also involves YOU! That’s right, in the first installment of our Top 100 Videos of 2011… So Far, we’re spilling the beans on the #100-51 most clicked-and-viewed videos on VH1.com. You’ll see that this piñata-like list of content contains tasty treats and slippery surprises alike! We’ve got brand-new videos that just recently launched, some VH1 Classic leaning clips (hey there, Megadeth), repeat offenders, and of course, effervescent, essential vids from the music video cannon. So take a look at the first fifty videos below and don’t forget to come back later this week as we continue on our quest to discover what artist snags the #1 spot!

UPDATE: Now featuring a special greeting from Miss Sara Bareilles herself!

If you were paying attention back when Sara Bareilles was our July 2010 Posted artist, you’ll recall that she had a very difficult time writing the material that would ultimately make up her second studio album, Kaleidoscope Heart. In one of her entries that month, she candidly admitted that “As the time passed, I slowly started writing again, and truly amazed myself with just how horrible the songs were. And then the fear set in.”

Well, we hate to cut to the chase, but Spoiler Alert! She was able to conquer that fear, get over her case of writer’s block and pen the exceptional Kaleidoscope Heart, which spawned the #26 video in VH1′s Top 40 videos of 2010, “King Of Anything.” Speaking of writer’s block, that’s precisely what her latest single, “Uncharted,” is about. And, we’re presuming, the familiar subject matter is why she was able to convince artists like Josh Groban, Maroon 5′s Adam Levine, Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, and more to appear in her star-studded new video.

Hot on the heels of his viral smash, “Josh Groban Sings Kanye West’s Tweets,” none other than Josh Groban himself swung by the set of Jump Start Live yesterday. His new record, Illuminations, is building nicely and earning him new fans, thanks in large part to the success of his pop radio friendly first single, “Hidden Away.”

However, we didn’t ask him about any of that stuff. Instead, we wanted to get his thoughts on the “Get Josh Groban on SNL” Facebook fan page, what it was like to be parodied on that venerable sketch show not once but twice (!), and, of course, how the whole Kanye West Tweets bit evolved. The SNL stuff is in the video above, the rest is below. Enjoy!

Movie premieres, awards shows, benefit concerts, and plain old clubbin’ – even though most of us are at home, the beautiful peeps are living it up somewhere. Last Night’s Pics puts you in touch with all the action.

Ashley Olsen and Lance Armstrong were photographed separately as they arrived to the Grand Reopening Of The New Museum Hosted by the Calvin Klein Collection. Ali Larter, Thandie Newton, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Julianne Moore, and Piper Perabo were also on the red carpet.

The 75th Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was chock-full of entertainment. The performers included Ashley Tisdale, Natasha Bedingfield, Sean Kingston, Josh Groban, Tony Bennett, and Joey Fatone.

VH1 News caught up with a slew of celebrities on the red carpet outside the American Music Awards and frankly, we’re shocked by what they had to say. It turns out that stars are not just like us, at least not Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry and Josh Groban. In the video above, Carrie offers a unique way to clean up after her dog, Chris explains his fascination with whatever’s inside Robert Plant’s pants, and Josh complains vociferously about how many people want to touch his hair. Count us out, Josh: We think your hair does fine all on its own.
