Yesterday, the Twitterverse exploded when Justin Bieber was hit with a paternity suit by a 20-year-old Californian woman. Never mind the issue of statutory rape, we all started chanting “Maury!” as the Bieb-Father scandal overshadowed the hysteria surrounding KardashianGate. Enter Jimmy Fallon, performing as his alter-ego Justin Bieber, parodying JB’s hit “Baby” with what we predict to be an even bigger hit, “(It’s Not My) Baby” on his show, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Busting some awesomely accurate Bieber dance moves, Fallon makes a surprisingly convincing teen idol, and we guarantee you’ll be starting your day with giggles if you click play above…

It’s settled, then; last night’s World Series Game 5 saw Demi Lovato take to the field to belt out the National Anthem, and we can begin debating whether she or Zooey Deschanel sang the “The Star Spangled Banner” better. And the winner is… It’s a tie! While both performers stood nervous and rigid as they sang, they both delivered very different, yet both delicately nuanced, vocal performances.

Zooey added her own special brand of sweetner to the Francis Scott Key jam with her dulcet tones and pixie girl charm, while Demi had all the big notes and soaring sentimentality. It would be unfair of us to deem one better than the other, in much the same way we’d never want to choose between vanilla and strawberry ice creams. Vanilla is a classic, like Demi’s voice: grand, bold and timeless; but strawberry is so sweet, like Zooey: relateable, fanciful and a little bit naughty. We’ll have a scoop of both, thanks!

VH1′s morning show Big Morning Buzz Live is coming back this Monday morning, and we’re thrilled to announce that host Carrie Keagan will be joined by Jason Dundas, the former host of MTV Australia’s TRL, as a pop culture correspondent. The guest list for the show’s first week has also been revealed, and the roster includes some pretty amazing talent like Hanson, The Fray, Chris Isaak, Johnny Weir, Boyz II Men, Siggy Flicker (VH1’s “Why Am I Still Single?!“), Eddie Kaye Thomas (HBO’s “How to Make it In America”), and Sarah Hyland (ABC’s “Modern Family”).
