Beyoncé And Belly Go As A Giant Bumble Bee To Halloween
We’ve dubbed Beyoncé‘s Halloween get up “The Bey-Bee”. You can see how adorable Mamma B (and some other celebrities) looked last night as she stepped out for Halloween at The Fab Life. [The Fab Life]

Liking Nickelback Will Not Get You Laid The Most
According to a hilarious infographic doing the rounds on the Internet today, your chances of getting laid decrease as your liking of Nickelback, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber or Coldplay (amongst others) increases. Turns out your music choices are just as important as your cologne and winning sense of humor when you’re trying to get between the sheets… [Flavorwire]

Next month, the Canadian rock quartet Nickelback will be releasing their first new studio album in over three years, Here And Now. We’ll be debuting the complete video for the first single off the album, “When We Stand Together,” on Big Morning Buzz Live next Wednesday, November 2. However, to whet your appetite, we were able to get our hands on this special 30-second sneak of the video that’s filled with more lens flares than a J.J. Abrams fever dream. And, we might be way off base here, but the combination of the magic hour footage, swaying wheat grass and majestic views in this video reminds us more than a little of the location where Spike Jonze shot Weezer‘s iconic “Island In The Sun” video. We’ll be sure to ask them if that is indeed the case when they swing by our offices here in Times Square later this week!

What would you do if you woke up one morning and found out you had one day left to live? That’s the question Nickelback asks in their latest video. Yes, Chad Kroeger’s voice is always full of raspy drama, creating an ominous vibe, but instead of stressing gloom, the guys give their fans a message of hope about the end of the world – while rocking themselves silly, of course.

The clip kicks off with a bunch of kids darting through the streets. Documenting their every step with video cameras, and buzzing around in secret, the squads look they’re preparing for some city-wide attack. And they are. But as “If Today Was Your Last Day” unfolds we discover they’re actually spreading an uplifting message.

“Tomorrow is too late.” “Reminisce old memories.” “Forgive your enemy.” All sorts of thoughtful prompts are printed on jackets handed out in Times Square, and confetti poured onto pedestrians from above. There’s even a dude distributing cash to the needy. The simple phrases are like fortune cookie messages, intended to remind us of life’s important things. Know what? They succeed. – Lacey Seidman

Previously we told you all about how this year’s VH1 Rock Honors Show — paying tribute to Heart, Genesis, Ozzy Osbourne and ZZ Top — was going to be hosted by Bam Margera in Vegas, airing live on VH1 and VH1 Classic on May 24th.

Qosa_150x200_2 Now we’re pleased to announce that rock mega-lords Queens of the Stone Age (guitarist Joshua Homme pictured, right) and metal mainstays Alice In Chains will be joining Nickelback, Gretchen Wilson and Keane in playing the life-altering songs of their musical forbearers — and Official Rock Gods.

Here’s how it breaks down: Alice In Chains and Gretchen Wilson (no relation), will honor Heart. Keane will get freaky with Genesis. Nickelback will interpret themselves some ZZ Top. And QOTSA? Josh Homme and crew will attempt to take on the blizzard of Ozz. (Not such a far stretch, considering that QOTSA’s first release featured Homme’s old band, Kyuss, covering “Into the Void.” But we digress.) In addition, expect special appearances from Cameron Diaz, Jada Pinkett Smith, Billy Bob Thornton, Robin Williams, Criss Angel and Taylor Hawkins. Who are you most excited to see?

Bam_150x150 You heard it here first — Bam Margera is set to host this year’s VH1’s Rock Honors show in Las Vegas. Airing on May 24th, just in time to buoy you through your long weekend, the Jackass mainstay and star of Bam’s Unholy Union will introduce to the stage this year’s honorees: the lovely ladies of Heart, the sharp-dressed men of ZZ Top, the crazy train that is Ozzy Osbourne and the no-jacket-required stylings of Genesis.

The two-hour extravaganza will also feature contemporary artists paying tribute to these legends of rock, including Nickelback, Gretchen Wilson and Keane. It’s set to blow the roof off the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. If you don’t believe us, you don’t know Bam. For more info, videos and a chance to win a trip to see the show in-person, go to VH1’s 2007 rock honors page.
