Shakira’s so hot, she even looks great in sweatpants, ? As part of her Tour Blog video series, the clip above aids in chronicling the Columbian cantante’s day-to-day activities during her “The Sun Comes Out” world tour. We already know that she’s got powerful pipes and hips that don’t lie, but while taking a break on a golf course in Mexico, Shakira puts those joints between the femur and acetabulum of the pelvis to good use!

“It’s all in the hips,” she says of her solid golf swing, breaking the mechanics to an on-camera pal. In between goofing off with the parrot club head cover, the fiery singer provides fundamentally sound instructions on driving the ball, and you if you watch the entire clip, you’ll see Shakira cruising around in a golf cart, practicing her short game, and most importantly, being stunning and adorable while demonstrating her proficiency in the sport. Quite a departure from belly dancing and performing in front of crowds in the tens of thousands, we’re quite fond of this stripped-down, girl next door presentation of Shakira, and you will too! Next order of business? Trying to get her in your scoring zone.

As we parallel park into July and officially hit the curb of this year’s halfway point, it’s time to take a quick look back at what the past six months have taught us. Now that we’re four weeks into this year’s race to determine the Song Of The Summer, the race is finally starting to heat up. Adele still has a firm grasp on the #1 spot, but closer analysis reveals that the gap between her and those who would gladly take her position is closing (thanks to minor slips in iTunes sales and the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown this week).

While Adele isn’t giving up her throne anytime soon, it looks pretty clear at this point that Miami rapper Pitbull is shaping up to have his Best Summer Ever. He’s currently got three songs resting comfortably in the S.O.T.S. Top 20: He contributes guest vocals to both Jennifer Lopez‘s “On The Floor” and Shakira‘s new chart entry, “Rabiosa,” and he’s also the lead artist on the club-friendly “Give Me Everything.” Not only that, his new single with Marc Anthony, “Rain Over Me,” is just starting to bubble up and could make a strong run itself after his new album, Planet Pit, drops tomorrow.

Also, while we’re talking about potential songs that could dethrone “Rolling In The Deep,” keep an eye on Lady Gaga’s “The Edge Of Glory” next week. The video just debuted on Thursday night, and even though it underwhelmed many upon its release, the song should benefit greatly from increased exposure in the wake of Clarence Clemons’ tragic passing this week.

Latin-flavored pop music rarely crosses over in America unless the lyrics are sung entirely in English, but you can’t blame Shakira for trying. Her latest album, the bilingual Sale el Sol/The Sun Comes Out, debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 (#4 among Digital Albums) when it was released in the first week of November against tough competition (namely, Kings of Leon and Sugarland), but the English-language version of single “Loca” featured British rapper Dizzee Rascal, who’s talented but hardly an American hitmaker.

“Rabiosa,” on the other hand, features Miami rapper Pitbull, so it’s getting a much bigger push, which seems warranted, since the lyric video posted a week ago already has nearly half a million views. (Granted, Latin artists perform disproportionately well on YouTube when compared to other charts.)

Shakira, Shakira! On Monday, we gave you a 30-second glimpse of Shakira’s latest hip-shaking anthem “Loca,” but now we’ve got the whole enchilada for you. There isn’t much in the way of plot, but considering the manner in which Shakira is able to connect with the camera (and, by extension, the viewers of the video), who cares? But, if you’re looking for a summary, here goes: Under some seriously foreboding Barcelona skies, Shakira straps on a pair of old school roller skates, boogies her way down a beachside boardwalk, climbs on the back of a motorcycle and then shimmies so saucily that we found ourselves surprised that the ominous clouds above didn’t shoot out bolts of lightning in response.

As we’ve come to expect from Shakira, the song is filled with catchy choruses, worldly horns and charmingly broken English. She’s also joined by the UK grime legend Dizzee Rascal, who contributes some spirited raps to the song. Speaking of raps, Shakira even takes the time to spit out a few verses in this song, which, we believe, is a first for her. Enjoy this video on your computer monitor for the next few days, but be sure to tune into VH1′s Top 20 Video Countdown this weekend to catch it in the comfort of your own living room.

So you thought that videos didn’t get any sexier than Shakira’s “She Wolf”? It’s entirely possible that you’re right, but then again, we haven’t seen the entire video for her new single “Loca” yet! Based on the :30 sneak preview that we’ve got for you above, though, it’s going to be a close race (which, really, makes us all winners). In these thirty quick seconds, Shakira is seen on rollerskates, dropping trou in a crowded Barcelona street corner before changing into skintight leather pants, riding a motorcycle in a bikini top and frolicking in a water fountain. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we need to catch our breath. Look for the full video to debut online at midnight on September 29 and on our VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown show this weekend.

“VH1 Divas” is back and airing live on Sept. 17 at 9PM EST. In honor of this iconic event we’ve got some of the best performances from past Divas shows, duking it out in an A-List caliber cage match. Check out the clips and vote for your favorite in the poll above, and don’t forget to check out the official VH1 Divas site for more videos, photos and news about the upcoming show.

Let’s do this! Next up: Jewel vs. Shakira.
