Timberlake Shows Off His Sh*tty Personality

I have no idea who Chuck the Movie Guy is (should I?) and judging from this one video he seems like a bit of a tool, but he’s nowhere near as big of a jerk as Justin Timberlake! Watch and cringe as Chuck asks stupid question after stupid question, while JT gets more and more pissed off at the interview. You’d think with all the millions Justin’s making he could pimp his new flick without getting pissy. Guess not.

In conclusion, my heart goes out to Jessica Biel, who has to date this douche. He seems like a real barrel of laughs.

Listen to Madonna’s “4 Minutes” Right Now

madonna-candy-350x.jpg

Yep, the time has come. You can blast Madonna’s new track, “4 Minutes” right now. Timbaland supplies the beats, Timberlake provides the enthusiasm, and as Madge suggests that the clock is ticking for all of us, the grooves mow you down. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions,” she sings, “but if I die tonight at least I can say I did what I wanted to do.” She always has, right?

Tell us: do you like the song?

Hear the New Madonna Track Tomorrow

madonna4minutes.jpg

You’ve seen the CD cover to Madge’s new Hard Candy. You’ve seen Justin Timberlake working the sexual innuendos about his MILFy workmate. Now our buds at Rhapsody are going to be streaming the first track from the disc. Come back here tomorrow and you’ll be able to blast “Four Minutes” for zero cost. It’s the track that a French DJ exposed a bit too early just a few weeks ago, and it’ll give you a taste of what you can expect from the full disc when it drops on April 29. Set your alarm: return tomorrow.

Madonna: Hard Candy Track Listing

madonna1.jpg
Journalists interviewing Madonna at tonight’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will have some new specifics to play with. The titles to the tunes that populate Madge’s upcoming Hard Candy have been released. Some Prince lingo (”Give It 2 Me”) and a Fiddy cop (”Candy Shop”) are rounded out by a Sonny & Cher allusion (”Beat Goes On”). We’re still waiting to see what the artist, who’s always changing her look, does for cover art - stay tuned. And watch the entire RRHOF show on VH1 Classic this evening at 8:30 /7:30 c. Justin Timberlake will sing the praises of his pal, and the Stooges will salute her in song. Track listing after the jump.

Madonna, Timberlake Song Leaks; World Preps Dance Moves

madonna.jpgA French radio station played the first single from Madonna’s new album Hard Candy on Friday and all the Interweb is reaping the benefit. Justin Timberlake and Timbaland co-produced “Four Minutes to Save the World.” Her Madgesty trades off verses with Timberlake, who is either doing a very passable Michael Jackson impression or demonstrating just how much love he has for Cee-Lo. The song is a straight-up dance-floor classic, with the sort of bounce and jiggle made for South Beach clubs. Guitars grind; drums pummel; and the synths . . . er, synth. The song means for you to get up and dance, and in that, it’s successful. Madonna sings “The road to heaven is paved with good intentions,” which isn’t exactly how we remember the saying going, but whatever. It’s loud, busy, grinding and full of energy. No word on whether the French DJ who leaked this is currently running for his life, but we suspect that might be the case. Until the song gets an official release, check it out here.

John Fogerty will praise the instrumental surf twang of the Ventures. Jerry Butler will salute the impact of Philly R&B kingpins Gamble & Huff.

Kate Hudson: Pregnant with a Timber-baby?

katehudson_pregnant.jpg

Everybody’s been talking about the little belly bump Kate Hudson’s been sporting lately (we’ve got five pics of her above taken this month so you can see for yourself). Combined with the flowy outfits she’s currently favoring, lots of people are buzzing about her possibly being knocked up. We haven’t given it much thought (we like our celebs to really have a bump - like the one Angelina showed off this weekend - before we speculate), but we couldn’t help but become more intrigued after a recent rumor that Hudson has allegedly been carrying on a secret affair with Justin Timberlake for a year. A source tells the NY Post that “Kate is very private and refuses to be seen with him in public. She doesn’t want to be humiliated like Cameron Diaz was when he dumped her. But they talk every day on the phone and see each other often.”

Now putting two rumors together to create one massive rumor isn’t the best idea, but if Kate IS pregnant and she really IS having a relationship with JT, well, DAMN. Wouldn’t that just be the best gossip story of the year?

Grammy Predictions: Who Will Win What?

amy-winehouse-2-515x.jpg

Each year the act of predicting which artists will take home a Grammy becomes one of pop music’s great guessing games. Someone picks a category, and everyone becomes a pundit. That includes us. We want your comments, too. Do you think our choices are right? Watch the show with us this Sunday night, and join our LIVE BLOG commentary right here at 8 pm.

RECORD OF THE YEAR

Beyonce: “Irreplaceable”
This screed about how the value of self-important men begins with a set of instructions: “To the left, to the left/ Everything you own in a box to the left.” Wonder how Jay-Z took that line?

Foo Fighters: “The Pretender”
Moderate rock, Dave Grohl-style: loud, passionate, dynamic, classic, and prog. Don’t forget the mildly rousing refrain of “Who are you?” But, sorry, it’s still boring.

Rihanna: “Umbrella”
Barbados’ answer to Madonna returned with a Jerry Bruckheimer-sized blockbuster of a disc, and this song, which stuck in our heads for the entire summer, was the centerpiece.

Justin Timberlake: “What Goes Around . . . Comes Around”
When coupled with Timbaland’s production, Justin’s soft-pop R&B added up to a great big rock opera.

Amy Winehouse: “Rehab”
They tried to make her go to rehab; she said no, no, no. Then she said yes, got some help in London, was denied a U.S. entry visa, and can’t perform at the Grammys. Too bad, since the song so thoroughly sums up the problems of 2007.

SHOULD WIN: “Rehab”
WILL WIN: “Umbrella”

BEST HIP-HOP ALBUM

Common: Finding Forever
Half hard, half hippie. Working the poetic tip, he keeps his political and philosophical ideas up front. Kanye’s production, even when it’s florid, does a great job of selling ‘em.

Nas: Hip-Hop Is Dead
Big indictment from the Queens MC, but Nas is nothing if not a provocateur. Though it’s not a home run, it’s gripping. And that flow of his can still make your jaw drop.

Jay-Z: Kingdom Come
Jigga bounced back, and there were lots of sharp moments, but it also felt like the true glory days of this mic fiend are gone. The American Gangster soundtrack is way stronger.

TI: T.I. vs T.I.P.
Yep, Mr. Split Personality may have been at war with himself, but that tension provided for revealing glimpse into the king of Dirty South’s psyche.

Kanye West: Graduation
Haughty is as haughty does. Hip-hop’s most reliable MC hasn’t given up on positioning himself as hip-hop’s most successful MC. But his bluster has oodles of creativity behind it, no question.

SHOULD WIN: Graduation
WILL WIN: Graduation

“Best New Artist” category after the jump.
