I want to be close, personal friends with Travis Winfrey because he is the most charming, sweet man ever. Winfrey plays Omar, the boutique employee-slash-BFF on Single Ladies, and even though in real life you would describe him and his character using the same adjectives (hilarious, sarcastic, and stylish to name a few), Travis says they wouldn’t be friends in real life. For one reason, he says they would “both take up too much attention in the room.” Travis is excited for Omar’s role on the show this season and says we’ll see a lot of his personal life, which is going to play out in some unexpected ways.
The show’s back for a second season, you’re not a newbie anymore.
It’s good to be a veteran now. I’m super excited and everything seems to be running a lot smoother, we’re not practicing anymore. It’s good to see everybody again, and we’ve got some new additions to the cast which is great, and Omar’s got a lot more storyline, so it’s fun to stretch out and expand his character.

Evelyn Lozada tearfully told host
John Salley at the
Basketball Wives reunion. “That moment” would be the wine-bottle throwing incident directed at
Kenya Bell. Evelyn explains in the clip above, which is an early sneak from the reunion special airing on June 4, that she’s not proud of that moment. “Not too long ago,” she says, “I was driving with my step-daughters in the car, and they watched that scene and they think it’s funny. But it’s not funny, and I need to be a better example.” The reunion will air in two parts, on Monday June 4 and June 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Charity Shea plays April Goldberg on Single Ladies, but you might also know her from her role as Sam on The Best Years, or her other role as a celebrity look-alike.
During the filming of season two of Single Ladies, we spoke to Shea about the evolution of newly-single April on the show, and the devoted following she’s gotten from her TV roles. And speaking of following, she tells us about the time that creepy guy who thought she was Taylor Swift wouldn’t stop following her around. True story.
What can we expect on your character’s journey this season?
April is obviously going to be single, so it’s kind of like adventures in dating with April. She’s exploring herself. It’s just all the different adventures of dating new guys. Plus she’s starting a new career, and we’ll be going on that adventure too. [click to continue…]

The cast of Single Ladies has been gearing up for their big premiere on Monday night, and they’ve been burning the candle at both ends here in New York City doing interviews, posing for pictures, and talking about the show. We found a few shots of them from earlier this week as they were leaving The Wendy Williams Show, and while LisaRaye McCoy never fails to keep the all-white ensemble fresh, Denise Vasi and Charity Shea rocked their springiest colors and they all looked gorgeous. This summer, VH1 is bringing a southern-fried tale of struggle, love and temptation to Atlanta, Georgia with an all new season of “Love And Hip Hop.” Premiering June 18 at 8PM, VH1′s docu-soap “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” proves love, music and the game know no boundaries. As the newest installment in the successful “Love And Hip Hop” franchise, “Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta” will feature an all new cast with their eyes on the prize of fortune, fame and family.
Among the main characters in this 10-episode series are Stevie J, a three-time Grammy Award-Winning producer who has worked with artists such as Diddy, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey, Stevie’s longtime girlfriend Mimi Faust, and a fiery up-and-coming Latina rapper named Joseline. There’s no shortage of drama with this strong-willed trio. Also featured areLil Scrappy, best known for his 2006 smash hit, “Money in the Bank,” his girlfriend Erica Dixon, and his mother, a former hustler known as “Momma Dee.” The hometown hero, Atlanta rapper Rasheeda, is still searching for that big hit after years in the hip hop game, but she’s constantly at odds with her manager Kirk Frost – who also happens to be her husband. Rounding out the cast are the talented songbird K Michelle, and Trinidadian R and B singer Karlie Redd.

Usually when I ask someone if they have any regrets from the past season of whatever reality show they’re on, they give me a line about moving forward, not having any regrets, and learning from their mistakes. But Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo knows that there were a couple things she could have prevented this season or done differently. Like attending a certain celebration of life party and throwing a punch while she was there. However, one of the reasons Drita says she loves reunion shows is because she gets to explain herself, and what she doesn’t explain on air, she puts out there in this interview I conducted with her just before the reunion filmed. She’s not one to cling to regrets though, she has too many amazing opportunities and friendships to relish and enjoy, as she discusses below.
Do you feel different at this year’s reunion compared to last year?
Yeah, I do feel different, the last reunion left off with the rooftop issue, so going into it I felt bad. Now, Karen and I went over that, so it’s good, but in a way we have to review so many things on stage that pissed us the f— off again, that could put us back to square one. Hopefully it doesn’t.
