It’s all over. We’ve had our ups and downs, our fun shots and our Daniellinis, our picnic baskets and our wagon-wheel benches. And when all was said and done, the winner of Famous Food is…

Any episode of Famous Food that doesn’t feature designer Scott is okay with me. Unfortunately, Heidi‘s poor work ethic and ability to irritate managed to displace Scott’s lying and bitchiness for the time being. Oh, Heidi. What didn’t you do wrong this week?

This week on Famous Food, there were quite a few bad business practices going on. First, there was always troubling designer Scott who walked off the job when he was confronted by DJ Paul for bringing in sub-par, un-Scotchgarded benches. And you KNOW how DJ Paul is when it comes to Scotchgard.

And then there was Juicy J, who puts the juicy in…just about everything. Both men were let go (!), but in our poll, let us know who you think deserved their firing the most.

This episode of Famous Food will now be re-named Famous Drinks for the sake of this recap, since it revolved around each cast member creating their own signature drink, but also around Juicy J‘s predilection for the sauce. Juicy really wreaked havoc on his teammates, flying off the handle, pouring himself shots on the job, getting chastised by the Dolce Group, and almost falling on Heidi and breaking her. (The way Heidi treats her own fragile body, it’s almost as if she has avian bone syndrome.)

On Famous Food this week, there were two prominent fights to discuss.
First, let’s talk about Danielle Staub vs. Ashley Dupre.
It’s wine o’clock for Danielle and Heidi on Famous Food. By my watch, that means it’s almost time to make the Italian/soul food donuts.
What happens when you take seven famous personalities, all fairly volatile and opinionated, and ask them to run a restaurant? And, mind you, it’s a competition, not just a friendly business venture. Well, according to the Famous Food supertrailer, there’s a lot of yelling and a lot of tables get knocked over.
Famous Food, which premieres on Sunday July 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, follows Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka, Danielle Staub, DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia, Vincent Pastore, and Ashley Dupre as they work together to open a restaurant, but in the end, only one of them can win a partnership with the Dolce Restaurant Group in L.A.
Who will win? Who will have something thrown at them? And most importantly, who wants to take a field trip to their restaurant??
The celebrities on Famous Food are all strong personalities, so when they meet for the first time to discuss what kind of restaurant they’d like to open, there’s a little clash of opinions. Will Heidi Montag, who loves upscale Mexican food trump Vincent Pastore‘s desire to open an Eggplant Parm-O-Rama? And more importantly, will there actually be a stripper pole in the restaurant? Check out this clip, courtesy of People.com, to find out.
Famous Food premieres on Sunday, July 10th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Hot off the panini presses (Food pun! Sorry!), we’ve just received word that the new VH1 series Famous Food will premiere on July 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The show follows some classic reality stars (Heidi Montag, Danielle Staub, Jake Pavelka), a Sopranos actor (Vincent Pastore), and three musicians (Ashley Dupre, DJ Paul and Juicy J), as they all work together to open a restaurant in Los Angeles called Lemon Basket. If you’re in the area, check out the menu and let us know how this place is — it’s already got 4.5 stars on MenuPages, so these guys must be doing something right! For the full press release with even more information about the show, and a gallery from the opening of Lemon Basket, keep reading!
