Nick Hogan wore an expressionless face today as he was sentenced to eight months in prison for felony reckless driving that left his best friend, John Graziano, critically injured. He was also given five years of probation and 100 hours of community service for each year. Hulk Hogan and a weeping Brooke Hogan (who wore a shoulderless dress) addressed the court on Nick’s behalf, asking for leniency. But John’s mother, father, sister and girlfriend all lobbied for serious punishment. “I’m not seeking revenge,” said John’s mother. “Only justice.” John is expected to require lifelong care. Sometimes we forget that Brooke Hogan is only like, 19 years old. She’s all tall and mature and she’s dresses just a wee bit older than her age, so sometimes we get confused. Our girl Brooke’s been through a lot this year - her bro’s car accident and legal troubles, her parents’ divorce, Hulk’s alleged romance with her BFF - and that’s got be rough for someone who is still technically a teen. But our heroine seems to be working through her ish on her MySpace blog, and her latest post proves that even at 19, one can approach life’s crap with a cool hand. Will she be this levelheaded on her new reality show? We’ll have to tune it to find out. In her latest blog post, she reveals that maybe the healing has begun.

I realized your mother is your mother. Your father is your father. Nothing is thicker than blood. No matter how angry, sad or depressed you are, your family will always love you no matter what. We are all human. Yes, I’m still hurting very deeply inside, but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m not saying I will get over this in a week, month, year or ten years. Uh oh. The National Enquirer is pointin’ the cheating finger at family guy Hulk Hogan, alleging that the wresting hero (and VH1 star) had an affair with daughter Brooke’s close friend, 33-year old Christiane Plante. When the tabloid caught up with Hulk’s supposed lover, she cried through her confession. “It was never my intention to hurt Terry’s and Linda’s wonderful, funny, sweet, loving, beautiful and talented daughter Brooke,” she said. “My relationship with Terry began at a time when Terry and Linda privately knew their marriage was ending. She had left him already, although no official papers had been filed.”

Hulk’s only comment was, “I’ve got nothing to say. I just want to protect my family,” but his daughter recently posted this cryptic message on her MySpace blog: “I’m going through one of the hardest issues i’ve ever had to deal with in my life…please keep me and my family in your prayers…i need all the support i can get.” Things certainly haven’t been easy for the Hogan clan, as word came today that the other driver in Nick Hogan’s car accident case was sentenced in the case.

Even though the news of Hulk and Linda Hogan’s divorce just dropped last week, it turns out that their separation happened some time ago and has been secretly kept under wraps. Apparently the pair hit the skids in June, and they even filmed parts of their show while broken up. Wow - good acting guys! So what went wrong? A source alleges that Linda liked to throw cash around, and wanted to purchase a big ol’ house in Cali while Hulk and the kids were loving life in Florida. The mystery spy said, “They’ve been fighting for quite a while, and a lot of it has to do with her out-of- control spending.”

Today Hulk released the following statement asking for some space while he and the clan works things out. He said, “Please respect my family’s privacy at this time with all that we have been through. I care for my wife and my children are my world and I just hope this all works out.”

We hope it all works out too! Hulk and Linda always made married life look so cute as they tooted around on their Sequeways with their puppies in tow. We’re sure this is nothing another romantic Hulk-written poem can’t fix. Right guys?
