One of the best parts about watching all of the shows that I do is getting to see all the amazing outfits, jewelry and shoes that the ladies of VH1 wear. So perhaps it’s an unfair question to ask since everyone’s style is different, but we want to know who you think has the best fashion sense. We’ve narrowed down the field to six ladies that we think exemplify style, so let us know who’s your favorite. (And of course, write-ins are welcome, let us know in the comments who you’d rather see on this list!)

So who will it be, Evelyn Lozada (see more of Evelyn’s style here), La La Anthony (check out La La’s style from TRL to the present here), Jennifer Williams (see a gallery of Jen’s style here), Emily Bustamante, Stacey Dash (see more of Stacey’s style here), or Gloria Govan (who won our best dressed poll back in November)?

We wanted to pass along the news that Stacey Dash, former star of VH1′s Single Ladies, has finalized her divorce from actor Emmanuel Xuereb. The pair was married in 2007 and separated in 2010, at which point Dash also secured a restraining order against Xuereb, accusing him of hitting her. It would appear that the finalization of the divorce is good news for Dash, and in fact, after TMZ reported it, she Tweeted a smiley face at them, so she definitely seems to be taking it in stride. We wish Dash nothing but continued success in her personal and professional life.

    Okay, Single Ladies fans, the news you’ve all been waiting for/dreading is here. In an exclusive statement to Global Grind, Stacey Dash has revealed that she is not returning the VH1 hit series. The rumors of Dash’s departure and supposed behind-the-scenes drama ran rampant as the show’s first season came to an end, and today marks the first time that Dash has publicly spoken about them. Her full statement is below. As always, we look forward to everything you have to say about this in the comments.

    Fans of Single Ladies have been abuzz since last week when a rumor leaked that one of the show’s stars, Stacey Dash, had been fired. Rumors of tension on the set abounded, but in order to quash rumors, co-star LisaRaye McCoy issued a statement on her Facebook page. In her post, she writes: “As everyone know I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by Mediatakeout and other blogs that like to create false stories. I was not even aware that Stacy Dash had been fired from Single Ladies. Furthermore if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don’t have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her. Now im going to go continue enjoying my vacation!”

    Show creator Stacy A. Littlejohn also responded to the rumors, writing “LisaRaye is a very strong woman and we love her, but she does not have that kind of power, nor at any time did she seek to influence any casting decisions. Furthermore, no cast member of Single Ladies has the power to get another cast member fired. The 6th-grade back-stabbing that LisaRaye’s being accused of is completely the creation of the uninformed, instigating internet gossip. Please don’t buy into it. Let’s just celebrate that we have a season two coming!!!!!”

    Dash herself has not publicly responded to the rumors, and VH1′s staying mum on the topic as well, stating that “no casting decisions have been made for the second season of Single Ladies.”

    The first season of the crazy successful Single Ladies had barely concluded when the rumors started flying that star Stacey Dash had been fired. Yes, we read it too, everyone from InTouch Weekly to MediaTakeOut.com was reporting it and it’s impossible to ignore.

    While we can’t actually speak directly to the juicy rumor except to say that it is indeed just a rumor, we can at least share VH1′s comment on the matter. We were told “At this time, no casting decisions have been made for the second season of Single Ladies.” So depending on whether your cocktail shaker is half empty or half full, take that however you will.

    If there’s one thing you can say about Single Ladies star Stacey Dash, it’s that she looks amazing pretty much all the time. Sure, she is genetically blessed and naturally gorgeous, but she also has an amazing sense of style, and watching her character Val Stokes on the show is like getting a lesson in fashion each week. The man behind most of Dash’s on-screen looks, Anthony L. Williams, is no stranger to working in television himself, you might remember him from his stint on season seven of Project Runway. Now he’s responsible for introducing us to Val’s daring, baring looks that make us totally jealous and inspire us to hit the gym (if only we had those legs…).

    Since Val’s fashion sense is one of the most talked about aspects of the show, we asked Williams for the inside scoop on some of her best outfits. We created a gallery of all our favorites and how Williams achieved each look, so click on through and let us know which ones you covet! It makes us so excited to know that Williams sources his fashions from thrift shops and TJ Maxx as well as the high-end boutiques, he’s really speaking our language with that bargain-hunting. Williams is also on Twitter, so if you have any follow up questions, he’d love to answer them, shoot him a message at @SewAnthony.

    We’ve still got a few more episodes yet to air from the first season of Single Ladies, but we didn’t want to keep you guys in suspense any longer. We’re THRILLED to announce that Single Ladies has been renewed for a second season, and stars Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy and Charity Shea will all be returning, too. We don’t have any information yet on when the second season will air, but as soon as we learn that info, you’ll hear it here first!

    What a great way to start the week! Here’s the official press release that’s hitting the wires this morning…

    Anthony L. Williams is a designer and stylist known for his competitive spirit as a contestant on Project Runway and now, for his gorgeous styling skills working with Stacey Dash on Single Ladies.

    Last week, we put out the call on Twitter for fans of the show to ask Anthony anything (using the hashtag #AskAnthony) during tonight’s show, and here are his responses.

    @NeilGoldberg #askanthony What are the biggest differences between styling for a sitcom and designing on a reality show?

    Anthony L. Williams: When designing for a sitcom it is the responsibility of the stylist to dress the character to the specifications of the script and the expectations of the producer and the director.

    @TBozz38
    where do you get all those fashion ideas..you’re HOT

    Anthony: I shop everywhere..Vintage, consignment, call in favors from fellow designers, Top Shop, Neiman Marcus, Zara Runway…I even shop out of Stacey’s closet. There have been random moments on set where I walked by a rack and stole a dress because I thought it would be fab on Stacey!

    @arjaunjubri @sewANTHONY who designed Val’s navy blazer?

    Anthony: @arjaunjubri I found that blazer at BCBG. We restructured it. It’s the fit that makes the fashion.

    @dowtinc: #AskAnthony – Where do you get your accessories-Stacey’s silver and feather earrings-HAUTE

    Anthony: @dowtinc The “shoppers” bought those but if I had to guess I would have to say The Atlanta Apparel Mart.

    @MulattoMlkshake #AskAnthony what is it like to work with Stacey?

    Anthony: Stacey is amazing to work with…Only because she celebrates excellence which is one of the core characteristics of my brand. This was my first time styling anyone in this capacity and she was my teacher…At work we respected each other’s roles and after the makeup, the clothes, and the jewelry came off, we were in our sweats, tossing back cocktails and we cackled like girlfriends!!

    If you have any questions that Anthony didn’t answer here, be sure to hit him up on his Facebook page or on Twitter at @SewAnthony.

    Fans of Project Runway may be familiar with Anthony L. Williams from the young designer’s appearance on season seven of the show back in 2009. Williams acquired quite the following because of the show (present company included!) and it was a sad day for all of us when he was eliminated. While Williams may not be on television at the moment, he’s definitely working hard behind the scenes as Stacey Dash‘s style consultant over on the set of Single Ladies.

    Williams’ work with Dash, who plays Val on the series, has not gone unnoticed by fans who regularly take to the Internet to discuss Val’s innovative and sometimes provocative fashion sense. This week, Williams is making himself accessible to all Single Ladies viewers and he’ll be answering all your questions on Twitter about his work as a designer, what it’s like to style Stacey Dash, and anything else you can come up with in under 140 characters. Just tweet your questions with the hashtag #AskAnthony between 9 and 10 p.m. on Monday July 4th, and we’ll pick the best questions to be posted – and answered by Anthony – on the VH1 blog immediately following the show. And don’t forget this episode features Queen Latifah, so it’s a big one.

    As Anthony says himself “Television introduced me to the world as a funny, southern, gay, black man that is sassy and full of entertaining one-liners. I am more than the image and personality that was projected through that reality show. I am a creative individual who celebrates every opportunity to have a human experience.” And we’re excited to have him share his experience with us on Monday. For more information about Anthony, check out his website, Facebook fan page, and follow him on Twitter at @SewAnthony.
