To help celebrate Black History Month, we’re dropping our overview of African American cultural trends, Black To The Future. The show drives through the decades, from the ’70s to the present day, scrutinizing pop silliness, throwing some respect for political triumphs, and having a lot of fun in the process.

“From The Jeffersons to the Jacksons, Marion Barry to Barry Bonds and the afro to the Jeri curl… we’ll revisit it all, whether it was completely def or totally wack. Each hour of this four-part special will focus on one decade. And the only white you’ll hear about is Barry White!”
