Celebrity Rehab alum Sean Young had a rough Oscar night last night, TMZ reports that the actress was arrested after being asked to leave the Governor’s Ball, for which she didn’t have a ticket. TMZ writes “Sean left but came back shortly thereafter, and when security asked her to leave again, a guard may have placed his hand on her arm when Sean allegedly slapped him. She was then placed under citizen’s arrest for battery.”
In a somewhat confusing video, posted after the jump, Young explains that the Academy’s lawyer is the person responsible for getting her arrested. She ended up spending four hours in police custody.

January first means two things to most people: Hangovers and resolutions to never drink again. Or resolutions to never consume something again, be it alcohol, chocolate, entire pies in one sitting…whatever. But a lot of the folks who make up our VH1 family look at the bigger picture when they make their resolutions, and we’re excited that they shared them with us in time for the new year. So check out our list and see who’s resolving to “show their inner rock star,” who plans to give back to their community, and who didn’t make any resolutions at all.
Gloria Govan, Basketball Wives L.A.: My New Year’s resolution is to stop being late, and to work on being on time and making deadlines. lol
Malaysia Pargo, Basketball Wives L.A.: To follow my first mind always…

As an outsider watching a show, we never quite know what scenes are really “real,” what’s staged to help move the plot along, or whether or not certain trips our casts take are truly enjoyable for all involved parties. (cough*Basketball Wives*cough) At the very least, we now know what scenes were most fun for the stars who were in them. We asked the casts of several of our shows which moments were their favorites to film, and the answers are surprising. (Seems like that Basketball Wives L.A. Hawaii trip was more fun than it seemed!) Read on to find out how they answered.

So much has happened in the past year that even just thinking back six months feels like a lifetime ago. But for a lot of our VH1 stars, 2011 was the year that they hit it big and their shows premiered on the network and they were beamed into our homes. When I asked some of our talent what the best news of the year was to them, almost no one went with actual news news, rather, everyone here celebrated their personal and professional triumphs, and rightly so. This is a successful group, and they’re proud of their accomplishments. Let’s see what they all had to say about the best thing they heard all year. (And of course there had to be a smartass in the group…OLIVIA.)

It’s been an interesting task, compiling these year-end lists from the stars on our network. No doubt they’re an eclectic group with vastly different tastes and interests, but one thing that unites them all is their love of Twitter. Each and every one of the stars we’ve spoken to have a Twitter account and follow it religiously, which is why we love their responses when we asked them who their favorite person is on the social site. It may not surprise you to hear that @Oprah was a biggie amongst our stars, but even more popular than Opes herself? Reverend Run (@RevRunWisdom). Check out our full list of favorites below.

Who made a lasting impression on you this year? Was it Steve Jobs, or Seal Team Six, or maybe just Lady Gaga (because of her Thanksgiving Special, obviously)? We asked some of our favorite VH1 celebs who they consider to be their 2011 Person Of The Year, and while there are some usual suspects on the list, we love that there’s a lot of family on here too. Check out who made the list below.
