Lately, I’ve been feeling like half of my job is VH1 show coverage, and the other half is explaining that Ray J is not the father of Danger’s baby. HE’S NOT THE FATHER. The For the Love of Ray J 2 supertrailer, which features a very pregnant Danger proclaiming, “Me and Ray are having a baby!” has only added to the confusion. Thankfully, Danger has clarified this line on her Twitter: “It cut me off I went on to say ‘Just kidding her Godfather.’” [sic] OK? So that settles it!

(Except it doesn’t since I’m sure I’m just going to have to explain this 5,000 more times. Welcome to my life.)

Yesterday, Danger announced via her Twitter that she has given birth to a little girl (since half of the comments on this post will probably mention Ray J getting her pregnant, it probably needs to be stated again that this is not Ray J’s child). She’s been updating via Twitter throughout her pregnancy (it was, for example, on Twitter that she announced it), so following her is probably a good way of keeping up with her and her offspring.

As we wait for the announcement of the baby’s name, let’s speculate what her 51 Minds nickname could be. My vote is for Suckley, but Thin Ice could work well, too.

For the Love of Ray J lightning rod Danger is pregnant (for real this time!), so her former fellow reality show contestant Stilts threw her a baby shower. In attendance were another Ray J girl, Cashmere, as well as Ray J himself, as you can see in the shot above. Unlike last time, there’s no suspicion that Ray J is the baby’s father — he just showed up to support his girl. Now there is a reality show bachelor who really cares.

After being spotted rocking what looked like a baby bump this weekend, the For the Love of Ray J lightning rod Danger has confirmed that she is pregnant via her Twitter. Danger had previously said that she’s engaged to Nick Cannon’s brother, Gabriel. So maybe it’s his kid? Who knows. After the controversy surrounding her the claim that she was pregnant with Ray’s child (which she went on to retract), we know one thing’s for certain : she really knows how to make that womb work for her.

Earlier this week, Cocktail posted on her MySpace blog regarding her breakup with Ray J in the wake of the second-season announcement of For the Love of Ray J. Now, via Bossip, she’s shedding more light on their split. Though she calls Ray “a truly amazing person,” it’s not hard to detect some resentment in her statement. It reads, in part:

“Just like any other relationship we took it day by day. We would hang out, have fun, laugh, share stories, and watch TV. Over time as we got to know each other more and more he would tell me things and often times they would hurt my feelings. I guess the brutal truth about him not being exclusive with me and still ‘hooking up’ with girls made me realize that it wasn’t going to work. I hate feeling like I failed and let’s be real no woman likes to quit a relationship so I tried to stick it out. I wanted to be his only one not just his number one.

After awhile Ray eventually realized that I was truly genuine and sat me down to tell me that we were not going to work
out. Then the Season 2 bomb was dropped on me. What makes me mad is that I asked him if there was going to be a season 2 and he lied to my face. He sweet talked me both times I asked. Aside from that, the breaking point was when we went on tour. He didn’t come back to the room at night and I heard the whispers about him being in other rooms with girls. It made me mad because he knew he could be honest with me but he chose not to be. At this point, I emotionally checked out.”

She also mentions her supposed feud with Tila Tequila, who alleged she was dating Ray J (and whom Cocktail addressed by not addressing in a YouTube video that has since been removed). Says Cocktail: “I honestly don’t know what her problem with me is but I don’t have one with her. If she wants to call me names, talk s*** about me and be all ‘bad ass’ on the Internet that’s her right but I have more class than that. I think she’s great.” So, I take it they won’t be settling this with a mud wrestling match? [Bossip]

As it usually goes when reality TV couples don’t work out, the “winner” of the dating show that’s just been picked up for another season has taken to her MySpace to discuss her breakup. We’re, of course, referring to Cocktail, who posted the following today:

“So most of you have seen photos floating around with me and a guy who is obviously not Ray. Some of you have been asking questions about who I am dating, is it Ray? or this person or that person and I want to clear some things up.

When I was on the show, I truly fell for Ray. I invested my time, effort, and emotions into him and wanted things to work. But the reality of reality television is that it doesn’t always work. Ray and I are no longer together. We have not been together for awhile now but we have remained friends and when we hang out we have a great time. I miss him very much and respect what decisions he has made. He is a really cool person and someone I feel connected with for sure but aside from that, I can’t say.

As for the tour we just did and ‘acting’ like we were together, it comes with the show. What people saw of us on tour was real. When we are together we have a cool chemistry. We have fun and enjoy each others company. But at the end of the day I wasn’t the right person for Ray and although it hurt me at least he was honest about the situation before it went any further.

I do want to end this on a positive note, I am happy. I am having fun, living life and doing me. I have a lot of projects coming up and you will see a lot more of me for sure.”

4.2 million viewers tuned in to see Ray J pick his leading lady on the For the Love of Ray J finale episode.  Cocktail was crowned the winner and all seemed great for the happy couple. Tila Tequila is a master at generating buzz, and we can’t help but wonder if her latest claim is just that - an attempt at gaining a wee bit more publicity. The MySpace celebrity took to her personal blog this morning to declare love for her new boyfriend - VH1 reality star Ray J. Just last week, he completed his quest for love on the reunion episode of his hit show, For The Love Of Ray J. Tila herself is no newcomer to the weird world of reality dating - she was the star of MTV’s skank-fest A Shot At Love.

Tila announced the coupling on her site, writing: “My baby is Ray J…..and no man has made me feel so loved and so happy in such a long time.  We really do love each other and I am so happy to have FINALLY met someone who treats me with respect and love.  He is so sweet to me and makes me melt everytime I see him…….I love my baby……so there you have it! Tila Tequila is officially dating Ray J!!!!!! I think we make the cutest couple….dont you?????”

She included a sexy video she shot for her new man (watch it below), and then went on to plug both their Twitter accounts, on which they both very recently tweeted to each other lovingly. While we’re just thrilled the two cheeseballs have found love, the whole thing reeks of a publicity stunt conceived by a pair of reality stars who want to keep their names in the media. What do you think - is this relationship the real deal, or are Tila and Ray J is TiJay just playing us for publicity?
