Congrats On Your Engagement, Corri McFadden!

Corri McFadden Engaged
It’s summer, a.k.a. wedding season, and after the hullabaloo of the Ochocinco-Lozada nuptials yesterday, we thought we’d be able to take a breather from wedding news for a while. Nope. We just spotted the news (via Twitter, of course) that House of Consignment star Corri McFadden just got engaged (in Italy, no less) to her boyfriend and occasional guest-star on the show, Spiro.

We’re super excited for the couple and wish them the best. We hope they’re toasting with some Prosecco right now!

Corri McFadden On The Season Finale Of House Of Consignment: Firings And Hirings

Each week during the season on House of Consignment, we’ll be talking to eDrop Off owner and woman whose wardrobe we covet, Corri McFadden, about her take on every episode. This week marked the final episode of the first season, and the drama was kicked into high gear when Corri ended up firing her right-hand woman, Nicole. Read our final installment of interview series with Corri below, where she discusses the hurt she felt after learning Nicole was talking about her behind her back, and what it was like cleaning her own closet out for this episode.

Let’s talk about your own closet clean out. You’ve said you rotate your closet a lot, right?

I sell my own stuff all the time. There will be days where I’m getting dressed and something just isn’t working, so I’ll bring it to the office and list it then and there, but when I transition my closet and really get in there and overhaul every few months, because I’m constantly consuming, I’ll bring in like thirty to fifty pieces.

Can we discuss your Juicy Couture jumpsuit?

It only had a “J” zipper on it! It wasn’t one of the velour track suits! I wore it on a boat! Listen, Juicy Couture is a great collection. The velour tracksuits have seen their day unless you’re under sixteen, but the “Jenny From The Block” days are gone.

Corri McFadden On House Of Consignment Episode 9: Warehouse Sales And Ta Ta’s Closet

Each week during the season on House of Consignment, we’ll be talking to eDrop Off owner and woman whose wardrobe we covet, Corri McFadden, about her take on every episode. This week, Corri and her crew held a charity warehouse sale that ended up being a bigger project than they expected.

Episode nine featured the warehouse sale for charity, I wish this episode was longer because I could have watched this forever, it was so fun to see how fast-paced that day was.

I know, that episode needed to be like three hours. Actually, it could have been forty-five minutes long because that’s how long it took to sell out.

That’s why we’re excited to tell you that Corri McFadden and the rest of her eDrop-Off team totally understood that viewers would want in on the eBay action, so they’ve held one item from every closet clean out that’s featured this season on the show, and that piece will be placed in an auction that goes live immediately after every show. This week we have a custom-made formal dress from LaToiya’s closet, and a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta dress that comes straight from star Corri McFadden’s own closet. Corri McFadden On House Of Consignment Episode 8, A.K.A. Hoarders Lite

Each week during the season on House of Consignment, we’ll be talking to eDrop Off owner and woman whose wardrobe we covet, Corri McFadden, about her take on every episode. This week belonged to Jilda, the Los Angeles woman with a closet packed to the rafters with Birkin bags and jogging purses.

Episode eight was all about Jilda. That closet was insane. Do you consider her a hoarder?

Yes. 100% If she doesn’t know it, I hope this episode will be a reality check. She refuses to get rid of anything, that is the sign of a hoarder, she just can’t separate. We have not been back to her house but I will tell you, she took back a lot of the merchandise we cleaned out for her. Read more…

Chatting With Corri McFadden About House Of Consignment Episode 5

Each week during the season on House of Consignment, we’ll be talking to eDrop-Off owner and woman whose wardrobe we covet, Corri McFadden, about her take on every episode. This week was Corri’s big trip to New York Fashion Week.

You said this was your first time at New York Fashion Week, right?

It was, and then I went back for fall, so I’ve been twice. It was insane. It was so much fun. It also happened to be the tenth anniversary of 9/11, so being in New York for fashion week and filming a reality show on the tenth anniversary, holy cow, I have never had a weekend like that, it was so hectic.

What made you choose Bridget to come with you to New York? Nicole seemed a little sad not to be chosen.

I chose Bridget because she’s been my longest employee, she’s been with me three years, and she’s extremely loyal. I felt that she was due this trip, she earned it. She also heads our closet clean division. When I was in New York most recently, she was in New York with me for the day and she cleaned seven closets in seven hours, so she’s a hustler. I felt like her loyalty should be rewarded. I think Nicole was upset, I think that showed, but you know, it didn’t matter to me, I felt Bridget was due that trip. I felt it was better suited with Nicole in the office because it left me with some sense of ease, knowing it was being maintained.
