So this is what that top secret photo shoot was all about. Chrissy Lampkin, Evelyn Lozada, Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton all grace the cover of this month’s Vibe Magazine (the sexy issue!) and inside is a no-bulls— interview where the four women address the controversies around all of their shows and what it’s like to be a reality star and role model.
First, Evelyn is asked how she feels about Star Jones who has publicly spoken out against her spinoff, Ev And Ocho. Evelyn responds “Actually, I like the petition and I like the controversy because I’ve learned controversy is good. But I think she’s irrelevant. And she’s using our coattails to get relevant again. Nobody gives a f— about her.”
When Chrissy is asked later whether or not she knew Love And Hip Hop would blow up to become what it is, she said “I knew when they put that punch and kick in the trailer that would catch people’s eye. People watch reality TV for train wrecks. People wanna excuse their own bulls— and tune into yours…I was easily angered because I signed up for something that was supposed to be about girl power and women embracing each other in this crazy world of hip-hop. I thought it was gonna be more of a support thing instead of Gladiators,” she says, calling out the producers for orchestrating arguments. “They would always bring somebody to challenge me. I would knock ‘em down and they would bring somebody else. [The producers] would go as far as telling the new girl, ‘Chrissy thinks she’s Queen Bee around here so we need you to step up because nobody here has a strong enough personality. We need you to shut it down.’ They were feeding people this negative energy from the door. I have no reason to lie.” [click to continue…]
The Mob Wives season two reunion airs tomorrow night, but Drita D’Avanzo isn’t waiting by the TV waiting for it to come on. Drita posted this video to her Twitter after attending Lil’ Kim‘s show last night in the Bronx, and it proves that dreams do come true. “Wanna see the most amazing moment?” she tweeted. “My Rap IDOL @LilKim watch THIS.” Missy Elliott, another fave of Drita’s was in the house last night too, so we’re imagining she was dying of excitement.
Drita also hung out with fellow VH1-ers, Love And Hip Hop stars Somaya Reece and (super pregnant) Yandy Smith at the show, some photos of them with Lil’ Kim are after the jump. [click to continue…]

The New York Knicks have had the most roller-coaster-y of playoff seasons, what with their series of losses and then a huge win last night at home against the Miami Heat. With such high intensity and emotional stakes, everyone wants to see these games firsthand, and that means the celebs are out in full force, courtside at Madison Square Garden. Here are a few of our favorite shots of some of our favorite A-listers — including our own La La Anthony (naturally), and Emily Bustamante — plus hardcore fans like Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Kate Upton, and Alicia Keys. See who’s been hanging out by the hardwood in our gallery below.

We’ve always wondered if Evelyn Lozada and Chrissy Lampkin were friends because, you know, they’re both tough, gorgeous bosses. Well, now we know the answer is yes. You may not have heard the name Rita Ora yet, but it’s seemingly only a matter of time before she becomes a household name. The UK-based pop star is Jay-Z‘s latest protégé, and is already being called “the new Rihanna.”Ora, whose song “How We Do (Party)” is in the running for this year’s Song Of The Summer crown, was born and raised in Albania, so when she popped by our offices here in Times Square recently, we made sure to ask her about a member of the VH1 family with Albanian roots: Drita D’avanzo from Mob Wives.
“I love her, she is my GIRL!,” Rita joyously explained. “She’s the prime example of an independent woman … [Albanian women] sometimes do come across as agressive, but it’s always from a good place, you know? Unless you trigger us wrong!” Then, Rita turned directly to the camera to proclaim, “Keep doing your thing on Mob Wives, and I’ll still be watching you Drita. I really am supporting her!”
Well, apparently the feeling is mutual. Drita and Rita exchanged complimentary tweets the other night, which we have for you below!
All we can say is “Wow” right now, after seeing some pictures ofLove And Hip Hop star Somaya Reece as she attended the Tribeca Film Festival in New York this weekend.
Reece has undergone a breast reduction (which she’s been documenting in a series of video diaries — you can watch the latest one here) recently in addition to sticking to a weight loss regimen that has seriously paid off. (Not that she wasn’t beautiful before, but she looks seriously incredible right now.) What do you Love And Hip Hop fans think of her transformation??
This photo collage made us happy when we spotted it on Kimbella‘s Instagram today. She posted these photos of some family time in Miami with the caption “Our Family Vacation” yesterday, which looked pretty blissful. Check out a couple more pics she Tweeted below!
