Continuing on in our look back at 2010, below is a wall of this blog’s animated gifs that moved us…and themselves.

At last, we reach the ostensible point of Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters (well, the ostensible point besides screaming in the name of comedy always, I suppose): the yeti. I don’t know if the above clip of this episode’s climax is proof that Bigfoot exists, but it’s proof that Real and Chance tried to tell us they had proof that Bigfoot exists. It’s something?

On this week’s Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters, the boys were on the lookout for werewolves. Guess how it turned out! With major breakthroughs in science, of course. In the clip above, Real undergoes a dog attack to prepare for his forthcoming dance with wolves. He’s wearing padding, but you can always pretend he isn’t if you’re looking for a good time!

On this week’s Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters, the boys were in pursuit of the highly mythical Burmese python. Haha, just kidding. It’s not a legend at all! Not that it matters! (I’m starting to wonder if “legend” is a synonym for “scary” that no one ever told me about.) Anyway, as you can see in the unusually informative scene above, fellow I Love New York alum Whiteboy joined them this episode, and you don’t see too much of him these days. Maybe he’s the legend?

Just a heads-up if you haven’t heard: Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters is moving to a new time slot. Its weekly premieres will air Wednesdays at 11/10c. It will be preceded by something you are probably enjoying very much.

This means the episode that was supposed to air Sunday will now air four days later, and it also means a slight delay for Whiteboy’s return to VH1 (he’s the episode’s special guest). Have no fear, though — if you’re jonesing for him, check out the episode preview clip above and some more at the Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters video page.

This week’s Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters sought to find Hogasaurus, a giant pig-boar roaming southern forests. Since little pigs are to Hogasuarus what sea lions are to sharks, apparently, the boys trained to shoot darts into a giant hog by attempting to catch and move very little hogs. The fake-outs these pigs proved capable of showed that this was a meeting of the minds…at least.

The hogs run so well, I’d love to give them the reigns of this episode rundown, but their hooves provided a detrimental obstacle. Instead you have me. :(

The boys’ stars were entirely eclipsed this episode. It just goes to show…

…all it takes to steal your thunder is a charismatic sea lion that can smile.

In this week’s Real and Chance: The Legend Hunters, the boys were on the lookout for sharks. How sharks are legends is still anyone’s guess. Perhaps you can debate it in the comments of this post, adding to the inevitably constructive and civil discourse. In the extended episode bonus clip above, the boys frolic with a sea lion to prepare for their shark encounter because, according to one expert, “sharks eat sea lions, so you have to be able to handle the sea lions before you can handle the sharks.” By this logic, the way to any snake’s heart is through the mice his stomach is about to digest. Incidentally, I have no idea what anyone’s talking about anymore, including myself.

Anyway, onto the shark-fast rundown of the night’s events…
