The next season of Charm School is almost in session (it premieres Monday, May 11 at 9/8c on VH1), and so this week we’re unveiling the cast. It’s a unique match of two casts — Real Chance of Love and Rock of Love Bus. Today we’ve got the Real Chance girls for you; tomorrow we’ll unveil the Rock of Love Bus ones. But first, check the press release for more details on the show’s new charity-oriented angle:

Former television talk show host, documentary film producer and author Ricki Lake is coming back to the small screen with some of the outrageous women from VH1’s Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels and Real Chance of Love. This season, Ricki faces the challenging task of transforming these ladies into selfless angels through various acts of charity. The premiere of Charm School with Ricki Lake airs on VH1 Monday, May 11 at 9:00PM.

Known for their amusingly bad behavior, the new unruly class of Charm School must learn how to become more independent and respectable in just eight weeks. As Headmistress and an executive producer of Charm School, Ricki Lake is taking a different approach from previous seasons. These ladies will have to take on real responsibilities with non-profit organizations. With Ricki’s guidance and expertise, the girls will contribute time to a different charity each week. Their volunteer jobs will include working with senior citizens, environmental preservation, mentoring underprivileged children, and animal rescue and care. For the final task and one of the show’s biggest challenges to date, the girls will be sent to the devastated Ninth Ward in New Orleans. There they will help with the ongoing rebuilding efforts to restore the region most ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.

Ricki Lake will also be joined by new Charm School deans Alani “La La” Vazquez (MTV personality and producer of the new Sony Classic documentary TYSON) and Stryker (Radio personality and co-host of Love Line), teaming up to help the new students succeed and graduate. See if the Of Love girls can pass their first test in the season premiere of Charm School with Ricki Lake Monday, May 11 at 9:00PM* on VH1.

The Real Chance girls are below starting with…

Superfan, Defined

The shot above is, from what we understand, a very real expression of one man’s love for VH1′s own Megan Hauserman. At last, fan behavior that out-does the ridiculousness of reality TV! This is where we’re progressing as a viewership, people. The owner of this fine inkwork is one Eddie who lives in Estero, Florida (per his MySpace). Megan tells us that he owns two Lily-esque Chihuahuas named, of course, Lily and Megan. Frankly, she seems thrilled to have a dog named after her. Go figure.

Anyway, Eddie is 20-years-old, which means that long after I Love Money 69 and Behind Behind the Music have aired, long after the fifth incarnation of Lily has been cloned, long after the reality “stars” that populate our tube have had their skins stretched into polymers, this tattoo will still exist. There is such thing as forever, and it lives on Eddie’s arm.

A new installment in VH1′s Charm School franchise will be here faster than you can say “reform school dropouts” and this time, there’s a good chance that the headmistress might actually be able to say “expulsion” properly! Actress, talk-show vet and camp icon Ricki Lake will oversee bad girls trying to go good from Rock of Love Bus and Real Chance of Love in the upcoming series Charm School 3 with Ricki Lake. Peep the press release:

The third installment of 51 Minds and VH1’s Charm School is going to a whole new level and showing a side of the girls from Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels and Real Chance of Love you’ve never seen before…the compassionate side. That’s right, these once love struck reality beauties will now learn self-improvement through selfless acts. Legendary talk show host, documentary film producer and author Ricki Lake will try to tame the wild ladies by asking them to do…gasp…charity work, in Charm School 3 with Ricki Lake, premiering in Summer 2009.

Ricki will not be alone in her quest to help these ladies; she will be flanked with the support of the new school deans Alani “La La” Vazquez (TV Personality) and Stryker (Radio Host). This team’s mission for the new season is not only to teach the ladies about which fork to use, but also to stress the importance of using themselves for good.

VH1.com will offer an exclusive sneak peek of the premiere episode prior to the show’s on-air premiere and will house the show’s episodes for on-demand viewing. There will be additional online and mobile elements and content launched throughout the run of the series. Additional details will be announced closer to the premiere of the series this summer.

“We are thrilled to have Ricki spearheading this new take on Charm School. Our audience knows her, loves her and respects her. And Ricki certainly knows a thing or two about taking big, loud characters and bringing them to a place of new emotional understanding,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production, VH1. “The transformation of the women on the show is always an interesting journey to watch, and the new twist on this season should bring the entire experience to a whole new level.”

Ricki Lake has worked in the entertainment industry for over twenty years, starting her career as an actress in the original John Waters’ film Hairspray. Later, the actress transitioned into the world of daytime as host of the long running talk show, Ricki Lake. Recently, Ricki has taken the role of executive producer for the documentary The Business of Being Born, producer for CBS’ recent movie of the week Loving Leah and, now, executive producer of Charm School. She is also adding author to her resume with the upcoming book, Your Best Birth. Both her documentary and book examine the world of natural childbirth and birthing options, which is a community Ricki has become a vital part of. She is on the Board of the non-profit organization the New Space for Women’s Health in New York City. Ricki now brings her non-profit experience to VH1’s Charm School Gives Back.

VH1’s Charm School 3 with Ricki Lake is created and executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for 51 Minds Entertainment, LLC. an Endemol Company, who also produce the record-breaking series Rock of Love, Flavor of Love, I Love New York, The Surreal Life, For the Love of Ray J, I Love Money and much more. The production teams’ programming launched VH1 into their highest ratings ever and their ratings continue to outperform their previous successes. Ben Samek and Matt Odgers also executive produce for the series and the company.

Rock of Love Charm School winner Brandi M., was spotted earlier this month with porn director Jason Green at the adult industry’s answer to the Oscars, the AVN Awards. They walked the red carpet and everything, prompting rumors of a love connection or…something. Jason even seemed to have some affectionate words for the reality champ: “I knew she was a cool girl, when at the awards she wanted to climb over a row to get to our seats in a dress with no underwear. I think I told her I loved her right then.”

If that was the case, he may have meant it platonically. Or at least, she took it that way, because we checked in with Brandi M., to see what she had to say about the rumors and here’s what she gave us:

“F*** no! Jason and I are just friends. I am very single.”

So there you have it: Brandi M., is still on the market. Breathe your collective sighs of relief. [The Frisky]

The Celebreality Interview – Brandi M.

When Brandi C., isn’t on TV talking smack and giving her fellow reality stars hell, she’s…talking smack and giving her fellow reality stars hell. At least that’s what the two videos posted here suggest. In them, she and her cousin prank call Rodeo and attempt to convince her they’re from E!, and that they’re interested in turning her life into an E! True Hollywood Story. It would be too cruel to watch if Rodeo fell for it, but to her credit, she doesn’t. In fact, instead of exposing Rodeo’s narcissism, the videos expose the inability of Brandi C., and her cousin to pull off a successful prank. Giddiness ensues nonetheless (especially in the second, superior video), so it’s all worth it, I guess.

Although that “schary mahvie,” Angelique was going on and on about during last night’s Rock of Love Charm School reunion may have seemed like a tall, hard-to-grasp tale, she was actually telling the truth! Frenchie was referring to Reality Horror Night, a flick full of contestants from reality shows (including Destiney of Rock of Love/I Love Money/Charm School and Rob Smith of I Want To Work for Diddy) that bills itself as a “light-comedy, light-horror, suspenseful film.” It’s not due till October, but in the meantime, you can check the official site for the cast and peep the teaser trailer below. [Reality Horror Night -- Official Site]

Normally in this space, we’d give you a rundown of the on-set and backstage happenings of the reunion. However, for reasons beyond my control (which unfortunately, I can’t discuss), we’re unable to give you the full story, and giving you only part of it just would ring false. Who wants to read a story with holes in it? So instead of a written account, we have a strictly pictorial account. Sorry, guys — nothing I can do about it.

In anticipation of the already controversial Rock of Love Charm School reunion that premieres Sunday night at 7/6c, we showed you a bit of the first act. Now, here’s a second tease at what’s to come: the quotes below all come from what’s set to broadcast Sunday night. Try to guess who said what and tune in to see if you’re right.

“I’m my biggest fan. I love myself.”

“I have two bras on right now. I’m not gonna lie.”

“People look at you funny. They laugh at you. They point.”

“I do not think that you should be allowed to breed.”

“I know how it looks, but I don’t think that I’m an alcoholic.”

“There’s a difference between pissing people off and hurting people’s feelings.”

“I’ve done a lot of…soul searching and really taking care of myself for the first time. I couldn’t be happier.”

“Real A-listers don’t go around saying, ‘I’m an A-list celebrity!’”

“[Sharon Osbourne] is a legend in rock and roll and television and a role model for modern women everywhere.”

Below, check out some New Year’s Eve shots of VH1′s Celebreality stable from two different parties. One took place in at Frog in New York and featured Heather, Mary Carey, Pumkin and Real Chance of Love’s Promo and Meatball. The other found Brandi C., and Megan partying it up in Maine. Megan assured us that she “made out” with Brandi when the clock struck 12, but from the looks of the pictures, it was a closed-mouth kiss, so don’t get too excited.
