Tough Love Couples‘ Steve and JoAnn Ward got a taste of their own medicine on last night’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy subjected the mother-son pair to a round of Out of Bounds (the Newlywed-esque “gameshow” within the show from earlier this season). Confusion broke out immediately when Jimmy asked the duo whether it was appropriate to check your partner’s email without his or her knowledge (JoAnn rightly thought that Jimmy was referring to one’s romantic partner; Steve thought he meant work partner). This just goes to show that being on Tough Love Couples is harder than it looks…even to the guy who’s orchestrating the thing.
