Earlier this week, we pointed out that VH1 stars like Olivia from Love & Hip Hop and Laura and Gloria Govan from Basketball Wives L.A. were making the rounds at New York Fashion Week. After days of (seemingly) endless fashion shows, red carpets, television appearances, and other assorted fashion events, we’ve gathered that quite a few of our favorite reality stars were out and about and hob-nobbing with other fashion-loving A-listers. Check out some of our favorite shots of everyone from Mob Wives‘ Renee Graziano, to La La Vasquez chilling with her pal Kim Kardashian, to the Govan sisters meeting Lady Gaga.(!!!)
Oh, and we should note that Gaga, like Adele before her, has admitted that she loves the Basketball Wives. Gloria Govan explained to Life & Style that when they met, Gaga told her that “she didn’t get to watch that much TV, but she really likes the show when she gets to watch it! She was like ‘Wow, you guys are the Basketball Wives, aren’t you!’ It was so amazing that she knew who we were!”

To wrap up our look back at 2010, here’s a brief list of the most satisfying posts that ran on this blog this year. You can probably imagine that working at VH1 puts a person in touch with extreme personalities on a regular basis. Though that is amusing enough to get you through your day, it’s always nice when content you’re proud of as a blogger comes with it. Below are six such instances…

We’ll be looking back at the year that was 2010 on VH1 all week, and to start things off easily is a group of screen shots amassed from various recaps over the past year from shows like Basketball Wives, You’re Cut Off!, Frank the Entertainer in A Basement Affair, What Chilli Wants and more. Well, seeing as how we just told you that the second season of What Chilli Wants debuts on January 2, 2011, now’s as good a time as any to show you the supertrailer! This season, Tionna Smalls scoured the country’s hottest locations — we’re talking New York, Miami and Los Angeles — for a man that meets all of the qualifications on Chilli’s outsized checklist. Will she succeed in finding a man for Chilli? What will become of her ongoing relationship with boxing champ Floyd Mayweather? And, most importantly, are there any dudes out there packin’ enough heat to satisfy her? All these questions and more will be answered during this season of What Chilli Wants!

Oops! The recent Behind The Music episode on Usher mistakenly stated that his ex-girlfriend, recording artist Chilli, was previously married to producer Dallas Austin. Though the two had a long relationship that produced their son, Tron, they were never married. VH1 regrets the error.
In this dispatch from the 2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors red carpet, Chilli of course talks about the Southern music she there to help pay tribute to. Perhaps most importantly, though, she gives VH1 News’ Janelle Snowden the dirt of what went on after the What Chilli Wants cameras stopped rolling. Would you believe that she still hasn’t kissed Bill, the guy she chose at the end of the show? She has seen him, though, so she’s not entirely depriving those who are invested in her love life as a result of her reality show.
Actually, Janelle’s other red-carpet interviews are just as great (Janelle probably doesn’t get enough credit for just how awesome she is). When talking to Brandy, she points out that Flo Rida, whom Brandy shared a brief association with (as played out on Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business), is just a few red-carpet steps away and then watches the reality diva squirm. (The oddest point in the interview, though, is when Brandy says she’s Ray J‘s date — how La Toya/Michael circa “Say Say Say” of them). Finally, Janelle straight-up reads Birdman for talking on his cell phone on the red carpet and for his casual attire. Then she gets him to reveal that Tha Carter IV‘s release date is set to coincide with Lil Wayne‘s release from jail. Is there anything this woman can’t do?
2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors is set to air tonight (June 7) at 9/8c.
